Worth a visit
This beautiful State park projects a clean well kept image. It offers options for concessionaire lodging and dining, putting boats in and out of the water to explore the Tennessee river and its area, and some beaches some can enjoy while there. Stop by the next time you're in the area even just for a looksee. We think you'll enjoy it. There's no fee for entrance.

Hotel or Campground......its the best!!
We have stayed in rooms and also stayed at the campground. Our experience has been wonderful each time. The scenery is beautiful and there is wildlife activity on the water. The entire area has plenty of lights around and it is safe and clean. The restaurant is clean and with a view of the lake. It is always a wonderful time.

Great state park
We visited the hotel for the first time in ten years. It has been completely upgraded. The rooms were spacious, the beds were comfortable, and the common areas were well kept. Unfortunately, the cost of the rooms has more than doubled since our last stay. Dinner at their restaurant was good (both the food and the service). The continental breakfast was free, but the staff could not keep up with replenishing the food. Towards the end of the breakfast period, they ran out of many items (e.g., coffee. butter, bread, orange juice). I guess you get what you pay for. Recommendation: get there early in the morning.
