Out of the way but interesting
This is a bit out of the way but interesting if you're in the area. There is RV camping but you sit on top of one another which is not my idea of camping. Davey's birthplace is interesting history and a real eye opener to see the place he was born. VERY rustic to say the least.

Be prepared to rent a fire pit
The campground is nice. The sites are paved and mostly level. The workers were friendly and very helpful. I just found it odd that you have to rent a fire pit for $7.99 per night. I have never run into this anywhere else. There are some pits along the river bank for community use that are free. The washers and dryers were very nice. There is no change machine on site and other campers told us the office won’t give change so we ran into Greenville to get quarters at a car wash. Convenient location to tons of historical sites.
