    Lovely Shaded Picnic Areas
We only live 31 miles from Panther Creek, but had never been there. We decided to have a picnic there today and were very impressed with the beautiful overlook (on Cherokee Lake) and dozens of lovely shaded picnic tables. The restrooms were clean and we also drove through the campground. Almost all of the campsites were occupied with motorhomes and there didn't appear to be a separate area for tent camping. There was also a very nice playground near the entrance and a swimming pool, which was currently closed due to COVID-19.

    Park Visit
My husband and I visited the park this week for the first time and were very impressed with how beautiful and well maintained it was. Even the restrooms were well maintained! It was great to be outdoors after being cooped up inside for so long. Thank you Panther Creek for such a pleasant and much needed experience!
