    Lantern Tour Amazing Wxperience
My family and I did the Lantern Tour and walked out felt like not only were we educated on the history of the caves but also as if we just walked out of a fantastic show. It did help that our tour guide was really into telling the stories. Jeremy was is name, or other wise called “the bald guy”. He was amazing, brought our entire group into the immersive experience of the caves. We had some laughs as well as some suspenseful moments. He brought this kinda “campfire stories” acting that took you into the stories and atmosphere. The tour guide made a big difference but I would say over all the history/stories and the cave in general was a great experience. I would recommend for older kids or adults because they do talk about some serious stuff.

    Long Live Texas!
When in Colorado with family we went on the Haunted Lantern Tour at Cave of the Winds. We highly recommend this tour! 1. Upon entering the cave there is a section that is only 4 feet high, but me and my 6'2" brother managed to do this just fine. We were warned by the guide in advance, but just wanted to mention it in case you have issues. 2. The guide went by the nickname Hippie. He was an amazing storyteller and understands that there is little light in the cave, being lit only with lanterns such that you can't see facial expressions. He uses his whole body and vocal inflections to create a wonderful experience for the tour. 3. There are reasons that I won't spoil why the spirits hate Texas. After finding out that me and my girlfriend are from Texas, Hippie took advantage and 'warned' us of the potential risk of mischief from the spirits. This led to a playful back and forth banter between me and Hippie that added a personal touch and enhanced the experience which led to us having an amazing time in the caves. We highly recommend that you try out this Haunted Lantern Tour, and if possible, request Hippie as your guide. We have nothing against the other guides as this was our only time there, so we have no way to compare them. Just that Hippie was so amazing that it really elevated the fun for us. Thank you Hippie for the great time!
