My favorite part wasn't the awesome course nor was it the thrill of the breath taking ride. It wasn't the beautiful landscape neither. Although it was all of those things, my favorite part was the employees and the way they treated my son and me! They were all so friendly and helpful. Patient with us first timers. Eager to help an over weight, out of shape, elder lady such as myself! They complimented us on the few parts we did well and reassured me on the parts I struggled with. Made me feel less embarrassed when I got in a place I couldn't get out of without assistance. You guys are awesome! A Plus!! We will definitely be returning!See more..

My husband and I had a wonderful time glamping in the Shining Star Tipi. We had a very relaxing and unique experience. All was done on a luxury scale with everything needed to have a comfortable stay even heated floors for the chilly mornings. The decor is rustic but lovely. The well equipped kitchenette is nice and there is all you need to cook on the fire pit outside your tipi. Also there are chairs and a picnic table for your enjoyment right outside your door. The pool and family play area is very close by.. There is plenty of space between tipis so no feeling of neighbors intruding. The housekeeping is tops. Everything was shiny clean. We had a long chat with Mark the owner. He is a great person and very hospitable. The whole staff is awesome. Check in and check out is very easy. Wifi is good. What more could you ask for??? We dropped in during our stay at the jellystone campground next door. The staff was able to accommodate us as walk-ins for the ropes course (recommend reservations for the zip lines). Anna, our guide, was amazing. Three of four young kids in our group were apprehensive and she completely accommodated. She even walked two children through personally. The kids loved the course and the customer service is second to none. Great excursion from the campground.See more..
I went to the Rope Adventure with the group of teachers from MCCA and we all enjoyed the experience tremendously. It was a bit scary, but all in all very worthwhile even for a seventies gal. Next time I won't go all the way to the top, though. The ropes up there gave me a bit of a scare! lol....See more..
My family and I spent the New Year’s holiday at Massanutten. One of the must dos is the tubing. The hill is not too steep, but enough to give you an excellent ride, either solo or tethered to others. You are permitted to tether up to four tubes for a family ride. Advanced reservations are a must, as these two hour sessions fill quickly. Our session was from 4 to 6pm and was sold out when we checked in for our passes. Note, that after sundown, the tube tracks begin to ice up, making for a faster ride. All in all, everyone had a great time and will be back for more on our next stay.See more..
Took the whole family (ages 41,39,13,and 9) for a weekend getaway and Bryce Resort zip lines were the highlight. It takes about 90 minutes (top to bottom) working your way from station to station, and you're entertained the entire time. Great views, lots of adrenaline, and Frank, Ben, Ashley, and Jarad do a great job of making it fun. Very safety conscious. $3 for an e-mailed action photo is hard to pass up, and the quality of all of our pix was great. Well worth the time and money. We'll definitely go back. See more..
For $12, the kids are harnessed, helmeted, and connected to an overhead line. They traverse several above ground obstacles, ending with a 30 yard zip, completely suspended. The kids had an absolute blast, even our one that is afraid of heights. And the $12 gets them two trips around. The staff there worked well with the kids, and had fun with them. A must try! We started off our day with a safety discussion regarding climbing and practices to stay Covid safe. Alex and Matt answered all of over questions and were available throughout our session if we needed help or direction. They were an incredibly hospitable and provided great service. This is a small business that we will definitely be supporting in the future. It’s located behind Independence Golf Club; I would recommend reading the driving directions on their website.See more..
We have stayed here several times, always different cabins, and ALWAYS a terrific time. The cabins are amply equipped, always clean, safe, quiet, private. The surrounding area is perfect for walking, hiking, biking, etc. and the amenities onsite are terrific. The staff is always friendly, helpful, and happy. There are so many things to do in this area …. Alexandria, DC, Charlottesville and the mountain... plus Fredericksburg and SPotsvania also has great restaurants, lots of shopping, a terrific Wegmans and so on. We are going to try to Stay at least a week every year, It is well worth the drive for us from Florida.See more..
We took family members to the Creeper Trail Zipline twice this month. Grandkids and Niece's children. Everyone, including us who have been multiple times. LOVED the ziplines! The staff is SO nice, helpful, and concerned for every "fliers" safety. None of our guests had ever been ziplining and just loved the experience. I've been to other ziplines in the Boone, NC area that have many more lines, but by the time the experience is over, I'm tired and wishing there had been fewer lines (especially with the price you pay at other places!). Creeper Trail Zipline has 4 lines - a perfect amount for the first timers. It's also VERY wallet friendly. Go fly with Creeper Trail Ziplines - you'll really like it.See more..

So, we went to this AWESOME place on a weekend trip....just a random couple adventure that turned into a truly memorable experience. The staff is the best we have ever encountered. Delicious food, fire pit conversations, a guitar player and plenty of firewood to stoke the fire. We were BLOWN AWAY! The lodging is comfy, great beds too! To the staff: Thank you for hanging out with us by the fire and making us feel like family. If you ever want a unique get away... GO TO Wilderness Adventure!See more..
