    Massanutten Resort Water Park image
We visited the waterpark while we stayed at Massanutten and it was so much fun. You do have to be careful when you visit though. They were sold out on the weekend so we went on a Monday and it wasnt bad for standing in lines for the waterslides. We got there when they opened and were able to ride 3 or 4 times before the lines started forming. See more..

The views are spectacular and the customer experience was amazing! If you have time and you want to have a great time and learn things too, do not miss the paddling with Isaac- so funny and knowledgeable and I felt safe riding with him down the steep winding road to the reservoir. The water is incredibly clear and beautiful, we saw fish jumping and a bald eagle. The star gazing with Lauren was so much more than looking through a telescope- it’s a computer assisted telescope that aims at the sky and displays what it finds on several big screens inside the incredible dome - so cool seeing that in action! Every staff person we met was so warm and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this place. See more..

The Hampton Carousel is fantastic! I have seen carousels the world over & it is one of the finest. It is beautifully carved & meticulously painted. A real treasure showcased in a spacious pavilion allowing it to be enjoyed year round. It’s conveniently located on the Chesapeake Bay near the easy on/off highway 64. Conveniently located between Virginia Beach & Colonial Williamsburg. Well worth the trip. Make a day of it by visiting the Fort Monroe Casemate Museum, the Air & Space Museum or the Hampton History Museum nearby. See more..
