    Great shop with extremely knowledge staff, excellent consignments sales, hurting for ammunition like everyone. Long rifle range well under control. Recent visit had a few rookies of the stupid kind on the hand gun range. Could have had range master just stand next to the idiots or brought in help. Was not safe. See more..

    My husband & I are avid sporting clays shooters and have shot many places all over the country & we love Flying Rabbit. It’s an easy drive from Massanutten Resort and not far off the highway (81). Traps are auto (with card readers) and are always functional. Family owners/staff very friendly, responsive & helpful. The course is challenging with a variety of birds & rabbits. Shooting stations have added charms such as wagon wheels and landscape items. We also enjoyed the wobble and 5-stand.     My boyfriend wanted to learn how to do skeet shooting. So we went hear for a training session. Carl was our guy and he was great. I was a little hesitant as I usually am around guns initially. But Carl was patient and walk us through everything. How to safely manage the gun, hold it properly and how to focus on the clay targets. I was surprised that I actually hit several. My boyfriend loved it. He wants to go back. I did enjoy it as well. Everyone here was very nice and made the visit even better. Getting there did feel like a bit of a trek.
