    Luray Caverns image
This spectacular natural formation features enormous chambers filled with towering stalactite columns, shimmering travertine draperies, and crystal-clear pools. Explore the caves through its well-lit, paved walkways and you’ll find yourself in magnificent cathedral-sized rooms with 10-story-high ceilings. Listen out for the haunting sounds of the “singing” rocks, thanks to the world’s largest musical instrument the Great Stalacpipe Organ, which plays the stalactites. Learn how this organ works and other cool facts on a guided tour of the caves. While you’re there, the nearby Car and Carriage Caravan Museum and Rope Adventure Park are worth a visit, too. – Tripadvisor See more..

    Shenandoah Caverns image
We are open and following CDC Guidelines to ensure the safety of our staff and guests. Shenandoah Caverns has been thrilling visitors since 1922. It is the only Virginia cavern with elevator service, making it one of the easiest caverns to tour. It's also the closest major cavern to I-81 (Exit 269). Our famous bacon formations are so unusual they were featured in National Geographic. Personally guided tours through our 17 soaring rooms take approximately one hour. Also see our other attractions: Main Street of Yesteryear, American Celebration on Parade and the Yellow Barn (open seasonally) located 2 minutes from I-81, Exit 269, five miles north of New Market, VA in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley. Let the exploration begin! Please keep in mind that while Shenandoah Caverns does have an elevator, it is not considered handicap accessible. See more..
