    Tom Leonard's Farmer's Market image
I've been going to Tom Leonard's for years, and have found the products they offer to be the highest quality and freshest you can find anywhere. I live an hour and a half drive from Tom Leonard's and I have never been disappointed when visiting his store. The employees there are the best of the best, and couldn't possibly be any friendlier or more helpful. I'm on his mailing list and watch for the specials he runs on fresh fish which can save a ton of money, and Andrew, who works in that department, is the best. Where else can you find the owner of a business walking through his store and randomly thanking customers for visiting his establishment. I happily rate Tom Leonard's five stars. It just doesn't get any better. Cliff See more..

I absolutely adore the Blacksburg Farmers Market. There are a variety of vendors with locally grown produce (a wide array of fruits, veggies, and mushrooms), meats, eggs, house plants, handmade goods, art, and more. One of my favorite things about the market and that there are always vendors serving food and drinks, so its easy to get a coffee and a breakfast sandwich while doing some weekly shopping and exploring the market, and then sit down and listen to some life music. Overall, I would recommend this experience and I think its a great way to see and be a part of the community present in Blacksburg. See more..

    West Oaks Farm Market image
This multigenerational family farm near Winchester has built a market, restaurant, and wedding venue on the premises. It's a bit out in the country. Most of the food sold in the market and restaurant is grown on farm or locally sourced. I had the "Ring of Fire" cheeseburger with jalapenos. The beef was very high quality. The atmosphere is comfortable for American deplorables. You'll be right at home here. See more..

  22. 3.0 Seasons Yield Farm & Bakery (2 reviews)
    - Serendipity
    Thursday: Farmers Markets
My husband and I stumbled upon Seasons Yield Farm and Bakery when we asked Google Maps to recommend a coffee shop. Seasons Yield is NOT a coffee shop, but it is something much more extraordinary. It is an amazing bakery and you must plan your life so that you can visit them on a "bread day" (two Saturdays/month). The next occasion is November 20, 2021. Their bread is actually baked in a wood-fired oven. . . how cool is that? During our visit, we met three generations of bakers in the kitchen (and I love the family vibe). If you are a foodie or just someone who celebrates old-fashioned wholesomeness, you will want to sample some of their goods. You are welcome. P.S. They also supply the delicious coissants served at the nearby Sugar Tree Inn. See more..
