5.0Shannon Air Museum(5 reviews) - The grandkids had a great time! Thursday: 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM Spent 1-2 hours Military Museums • Science Museums • History Museums
Shannon Air Museum is the perfect stop on a hot, muggy August afternoon! The docent varied his presentation so my 5- and 7-year-old grandsons would enjoy it. The boys especially enjoyed the recently installed wind tunnel with the remote controlled airplane. Mr. Blosser was so patient with them. He taught them how to control the rudders and throttle and the boys were thrilled! They couldn’t wait to go outside and sit in the two WWll airplanes. Again, Mr. Blosser was quite patient when teaching them. We capped our visit with ice cream at the Eagle’s Nest, a full-service restaurant. While eating the ice cream, we saw three small planes taxi and take off. What a treat!!! We were there for about three hours and loved every minute of it!See more..
