This was a wonderful experience. Amazing restoration of historic home, very good 10 minute audio visual history. Stairs are involved throughout, even several steps to access ground floor from entrance. Gallery spaces, 4 rooms over 2 floors, in new building attached are well worth the time. Most impressed with Isabel Davies collection. Cafe and toilets on site. Free entry and plenty of untimed street parking. See more..

There are three separate sections to the museum as well as the free sculpture park. Heide III is the largest of the galleries, which is currently showing British sculpture Barbara Hepworth works. Heide II is located near to the cafe. HeideI is the original house and set in a pretty garden. Toilets are clean and wheelchair accessible. The cafe is very busy so I would suggest booking a table if you require a meal. The sculpture park is easy to access from the park. See more..
