Montrose Town Centre is nestled amongst picturesque gardens at the foot of the Dandenong Ranges and makes a great stop when visiting the area. Montrose town centre is part of culture tracks programme; it offers a range of arts and cultural activities including a concert series part of the Yarra Ranges Council culture events program which in 2013 included AC02, Lior, Vince Jones and the idea of North. It also offers a range of varied workshops including tribal belly dancing classes as well as offering skills development in arts and crafts and new and vintage movies. See more..

Built between 1876 and 1877 is this grand town hall that stands prominently on the streetscape of Creswick. This building reflects a time where the gold rush was alive. There was a secret design competition for the design of this building ... the winner was E.H.Creber. His prize?£50 The cost of this building ? £3500 The building was used by the council 1875 until 1968. Today it holds much of the famous Lindsay families works... and it's a museum. See more..
