I did the 2 day 1 night self guided tour from bridge to bridge, down the Goulburn River. It was simply fantastic. Rob is extremely accomodating, knowledgable and so very friendly and kind. I felt at ease and less nervous about my solo adventure very soon. He showed me everything at the camp, drove me up to the bridge, and then I was on my own with the kayak until midday the next day. The experience was amazing. There was nobody else on the river so for large parts it was just me and the sounds of birds, the occasional splash of a jumping fish or a startled duck, and the rare thump of a hopping wallaby. The camp site is right on the river, and Rob provided a fire ton, wood, matches for a fire, plenty of water, and a portable toilet. I set up camp with view of the river which was just lovely and the sunrise was gorgeous. I will definitely be back for perhaps a longer trip or also just a short one. Experiencing nature from the river is just something else.See more..
5.0Murray River Adventures(25 reviews) - Do this, you'll never forget the experience Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Eco Tours • Fishing Charters & Tours • Nature & Wildlife Tours • Kayaking & Canoeing
My wife and I paddled Yarran Creek to the Murray River during flooding with Greg as our guide. This is a once in a life-time experience, that you have to work at to time. But Greg and Shannon will work with you. We navigated our way through the flooded forest, sometimes through lime-green duckweed that swirled as we went through. The water is almost black with tannins, makings the reflections of the sky and trees incredible. And Greg is great. He's a wealth of knowledge of both flora and fauna, with over 20 years working in forestry. But if you're not interested in that, he's happy just paddling along at your rate. Plus he serves up a great feed! Can't recommend highly enough.See more..
Had the most wonderful time abseiling at Mt Buffalo with Adventure Guides Australia. The staff are there with you through the whole experience. I will definitely do it again. Brad and Trina guided me down the rock face and I have never felt more safe. Highly recommend this for anyone and everyone.See more..

We did the platypus tour on Lake Elizabeth in Feb 2021 and it was absolutely amazing. Bruce has an incredible eye for spotting these little creatures - all up, we managed to see about 6! The lake itself was just stunning - the reflections from the trees above were like glass - and the canoe ride was just so relaxing. We brought our kids (aged 7 and 9), which was a bit of a risk, but thankfully they were mostly well behaved and quiet! On our walk back in the dark, we got to see some glow worms and then as an added bonus, we saw a koala just as we were leaving! I would highly recommend this tour.See more..
The Loddon River Canoe Trail at Serpentine follows a slow, meandering 4 km section of the Loddon River. Departing from the boat ramp, this self-guided journey of discovery is suitable for most ages and paddling abilities. Discover the waters of the Loddon as you meander through the domain of the River Redgum. These waters are the lifeblood of this enduring Eucalyptus, enabling its prosperity and the prosperity of the aboriginal people who have lived beside it for thousands of years. It was quite a surprise turning off the Loddon Valley Highway and seeing this beautiful area next to the road. Time and time again I traversed the Highway and never had an idea that this area was so close... and so stunning beautiful. There is a ramp at the location for the canoes...which I tried to walk down ( Okay, I did...but that's not safe...so don't do it). Even if you don't put a canoe into the water here, it's worth stopping to enjoy the tranquility of the area.See more..
