4.5Sale Botanic Gardens(112 reviews) - Beautiful and relaxing Parks • Gardens • Playgrounds
A beautiful garden at the edge of the lake. Modernised recently, addition of artistic seating and a fountain area children can play in on a hot day. The lavender/rose garden was in full blood and the fragrance was amazing. Plenty of shaded seating available to have a rest and take it all in or enjoy a picnic. Excellent modern toilet facilities. Highly recommend a visit if you have a couple of hours spare. See more..
4.5Howitt Park(89 reviews) - Must see with kids in Bright Spent 2-3 hours Parks • Playgrounds
Arguably the most popular spot in Bright with kids. Pretty location on the river right next to the Splash park (which is only open in hot weather). The kids could’ve spent hours at this amazing play space. Loved that it had a ramp that makes it easier for kids to access. Overlooking the playground is the amazing Bright brewery for the adults. Highly recommend you check this place out while walking along the river.See more..

4.0Lake Colac(50 reviews) - Worth a look and a return visit Bodies of Water • Nature & Wildlife Areas • Playgrounds
A vast freshwater lake surrounding g the town of Colac. Visited the parklands town side with a Lakeside walk, playground, Botanic gardens and reserve noted. Able to park my van under the extensive canopy to wait out the electrical storm and exyteme heat. Unfortunately due to conditions I was unable to fully explore on foot but have noted the area for future explorations. Lovely building facades, plenty of history and a yacht and bowls Club within the precinct along with shady tree canopy and winding pathways through the park. Only thing missing on the town side was a cafe or food venue. An opportunity missed? A place for all the family catering for groups, parties and outings with special memories sure to be created. 4.5Torquay Foreshore Play Park(33 reviews) - Brilliant park for everyone Spent 1-2 hours Parks • Playgrounds
Investing in a good playground is worth its weight in gold. This one in particular is well designed, extensive and not full of plastic primary coloured elements. The place was pretty busy when I came here. Barbecues, shelter, picnic tables, toilets and good parking. Shaded areas are nice on hot days. Across the road are places for food and refreshments. A Mr Whippy Van was there today and doing a good trade. Wheelchair accessible. Beach on the east side. All round great facility. Will return. See more..
A great playground for all children. The surrounds are secure so you don't need to be watching your children all of the time. They have provided wonderfull facilities. My grandchildren love visiting here when in Shepparton. The council in their wisdom hid it away from the public and the main road, but worth searching for. From the main road it is behind the lake next door the Aquamoves.See more..

4.0Silvan Reservoir Park(15 reviews) - Beautiful spot but currently the walking track is closed Friday: 9:00 AM - 4:30 PM Spent 2-3 hours Nature & Wildlife Areas • Parks • Playgrounds
Bit disappointed that I was not able to see the Silvan dam in the best way as access on the walking track was limited only up to the point where the dam and waters edge could be seen. Through the protected barrier the lake was visible but a good view and a relaxed walk through the wooded lake side was not possible. Being a weekend there were many picnicking in the park area.See more..

4.0Kaniva Wetlands and Fauna Park(11 reviews) - Kaniva - well worth a visit or stopover. Friday: 12:00 AM - 11:59 PM Parks • Playgrounds
Most enjoyable stopover in Kaniva last week. Stayed at the Kaniva Midway Motel which is an older style Motel but service from Chris was wonderful, including very generous breakfast. Dinner at the Commercial Hotel, likewise, was very good. Great to see the Fauna Park developed - being looking at this on trips to and from South Australia for forty-odd years. Great place to stop even just for lunch but better overnight or longer. Very welcoming community.See more..

3.5Duke Street Reserve(3 reviews) - Good playground for kids, be aware of broken glass Playgrounds
My kids love this playground and the numerous monkey bars there. The only problem is that many people who used the BBQ service here are very inconsiderate. They left the place uncleaned with garbage overflowing the bins and the worst of all is broken glass bottles found very frequently near the playground. Need to make sure your kids do not come near them.See more..

4.5Aireys Inlet Skate Park(2 reviews) - For all the family Friday: 12:00 AM - 11:59 PM Spent 1-2 hours Playgrounds • Game & Entertainment Centers
A lot of work has been done to finish the Aireys Inlet Skate Park. It also incorporates a children's playground, undercover BBQ area, toilets and even a set of goals to practice your kicking. Plenty of parking is available on Inlet Cresent. the Skate Park has two different areas to skate. One is a bowl and the other a couple of stand alone ramps. The children's playground has swings, slides, castles and wobbly animals. Suits a range of ages up to teenagers. The park is situated along the river and close to the beach in an open area, so it can be very cold if the wind is blowing. Don't forget to take a jacket. For mums and dads, there is a couple of coffee shops just over the road to get a take away from. Dogs are welcome, on a lead.See more..

4.5Nolen's Park(2 reviews) Open now - 12:00 AM - 11:59 PM Spent 1-2 hours Bodies of Water • Parks • Playgrounds
The author of the book The Magic Pudding was born in Creswick- Norman Lindsay. So it's a gorgeous concept to have a park named after the book. The Magic Pudding is a pie, except when it's something else, like a steak, or a jam donut, or an apple dumpling, or whatever its owner wants it to be. And it never runs out. No matter how many slices you cut, there's always something left over. It's magic. The reserve is stunningly beautiful with trees...and a children's playground. It's a fenced park.See more..
