This is a lovely pool complex, and the toddler pool has a super-exciting indoor slide for young children. The hydro-bath also looks really relaxing for older folk and those with arthritis. And there's a decent indoor lap pool, as well as a big outdoor pool. However, my kids are always attracted to the big outdoor water slide, which they can see from the information centre next door. Queen Elizabeth Oval is a highlight of Bendigo. The historic grandstand is one of the best features of this golden city. The oval is used mainly used for Australian football and cricket. The oval has been improved over the years and it has been used for AFL and AFL Women's pre-season matches. In addition to the historic grandstand, the ground has substantial standing room. Under normal circumstances, the ground holds 10,000 spectators, but some 14,000 have been squezzed in for big games.
