    The Blues Train image
For something decidedly different and entirely enjoyable, Queenscliff's legendary Blues Train is one of Victoria's most spectacular entertainment and dining experiences. The Blues Train departs Queenscliff between the months of August and May, offering a unique musical meal and show. With a capacity of 200 (50 in each of the four carriages) it has become enormously popular as a function venue and can accommodate and provide catering for parties of one to 200 people for a unique dinner and show - including weddings, birthday parties, corporate functions, christmas celebrations and special occasions. The Blues Train event begins at the historic town of Queenscliff. Patrons tuck into a hearty meal prepared by our Blues Train caterers. Drinks to take on the journey are available on the platform from the T-bar in the guard's van, open at each of the four stops. At each stop revellers swap carriages to find a new band tuning-up ready for the next act. One of the carriages only has seating running along each wall. The seating arrangement and up-beat music in this carriage leaves little option other than getting up for a bit of a boogie. But you don't have to dig the blues to enjoy the Blues Train, you just have to be open to a really good time. The Blues Train runs along the old Geelong train line, stopping in turn at Suma Park historic homestead and winery, and then at Drysdale before turning around and making its way back to Queenscliff, again via Suma Park. The Blues Train has hosted many great musicians since its inception, including Aussie blues legends Jimi Hocking, Chris Wilson and Lloyd Spiegel and Aria Award winners Collard Greens and Gravy and Mia Dyson. 2. 5.0 The Q Train (235 reviews)
    - A special day for a special occasion
Friday: 7:00 PM - 10:00 PM Scenic Railroads • Rail Tours
    The Q Train image
I was looking for something special to do for a special anniversary. Then I remembered that I had read about The Q Train. I’m so pleased that I did as we had a fabulous time. From the time that we arrived at the siding and were given a friendly and happy greeting to the time that we were wished a friendly goodbye, the experience was exemplary. We had a room to ourselves where we were able to indulge on the superb food and wine - all locally sourced. The standout was the gin cured salmon. We also took advantage at the stop where we were able to get out, stretch our legs and chat with others aboard the train (who were equally impressed with the service and the trip). This was such a nice way to celebrate a special day. Being able to leave Melbourne and enjoy a relaxing trip with ample food and wine was so worth doing. One tip - if departing from Drysdale, it would pay you to get transport to and from the train, so both partners can fully enjoy the experience. See more..

The Bellarine Railway is operated and maintained by the dedicated volunteers of the Geelong Steam Preservation Society, a not-for-profit organisation founded in 1970. The line is recognised as the oldest Victorian branch line still in operation. Today the railway runs regular scenic train trips between Queenscliff and Drysdale, along with experiences and events which include: * School Holiday Specials * Easter Bunny Trains * Teddy Bear Specials * Halloween Specials * Santa Trains * Day Out With Thomas events * Steam and Diesel Train Driver Experiences * Special occasion and Group charters * New Volunteers are always welcome!
