We had a very positive experience with Cass, Alex and ??? (Sorry our third guides name eludes me) There was 12 riders in our group with variable ability. One guide took my 2 sons off on a different route at one stage as they didn’t want to canter. My boys loved their trot with the guide and the fact they went off track. The horses were lovely and responsive to our movements. My Jack was a beauty. Our guides were informative in their demonstration before setting out, helpful with hints about our mounts individual personality and background. I liked the variability of terrain we covered - through muddy waters, across rivers, up into the national park, across roads. It took us about 40minutes to get there from Bright. Boots (and hats) were supplied along with sunscreen and insect repellent if needed and we could put items in a saddlebag (no disposable bottles). Second ride we have done with Christian & Laura first was the Kimberley in 2017, and the standards have not changed. Experienced staff and all care taken of clients. Thank you to our wonderful guides Gwen, Sarah, Jayce and especially Katie as me being a not especially experienced or competent older rider at the age of 68 yrs old was taken and guided carefully through the 4 day journey, also Vinnie who kept the home fires burning, cleared the way of fallen trees and a wealth of knowledge. We had an absolutely wonderful time with the McCormick family and team. An amazing two day adventure on horseback and a delicious meal with great stories and company around the camp fire in the evening. A huge shout out to Cassie who did a wonderful job greeting us, Nicki, Bonnie and Kelsey who were so professional but yet so fun and interesting on the horses and then Bruce Debbie and Luke - the support crew who made sure everything g was set up for us, cooked delicious meals for us and kept us entertained with both interesting and also funny anecdotes and stories. I went on a weekend ride twice in the last 2 years. Although a bit of a late review I just have to say that this place is awesome. The horses are so well called for and know their every footing. The food was good. The staff was really good, making the trip amazing. It was just really fun.See more..
