Went to the Philip island tour on the 21st of Nov 2022. Our tour guide Graeme was the sweetest guide ever. Very detailed on the tour explanations. Also did make us have a good laugh with his koala song and what made me felt warm was that he would try his best to drop the female customers traveling alone to their nearest hotel location instead of the normal pick up point if it’s too far to ensure their safety. The 6-day Murray River cruise from Echuca on the P. S. Emmylou was an excellent experience. Scott and James were our Captains who gave us commentary as we steamed along the Murray. Scott was also the engineer who gave a very informative talk on how the 1906 steam engine operates. The large variety of outstanding meals (and birthday cakes) prepared by Chef Greg and delivered by our excellent host Julie were exceptional, you will not be disappointed or go hungry. We thoroughly enjoyed the off-boat itinerary with the company of all our fellow passengers and crew, especially the campfire entertainment with Wazza. Not to forget our bus drivers Ross and Tony. We visited Tae Rak aquaculture centre last week joined the morning guided walk with Jaydn. This was a wonderful experience and so enlightening to learn about the sophisticated aquaculture techniques developed over thousands of years by the local indigenous people. The remains of their carefully constructed stone houses is also remarkable, as is the story of the life cycle of the short fined Eel. Jaydn is a natural storyteller. Exciting and different experience with my grandchildren aged 7 & 4. Staff went out of their way to accommodate our needs. Dogs clearly very much loved and cared for. Our team included rescue dogs. Lots of info given during ride about the dogs, their names, commands used and how the team of 8 works together. The grandchildren loved the ride in the snow, the time meeting the dogs at the end of ride and now cannot be separated from their soft toy huskys purchased from the office. Ricky hosted a terrific Mallee 1/2 day tour for me. I was visiting the Mildura region on my own and was very comfortable with this personalized experience. I was amazed and then delighted to find out that I knew so little about our bush and the beautiful birds and the many pretty wildflowers. The 4 wheel driving experience also added to this great tour. The Pink Lakes and Hattah NP were fabulous. Ricky was a wealth of knowledge and when next I am in Mildura I would do the full day tour! My favourite part of the bike ride was the anticipation of arriving at a different town after each day of riding. I enjoyed reading about the history at each destination, including browsing the shops, excited for our arranged nightly accommodation & sitting at a bakery, cafe and watching the day go by. We were very pleased with our visit to New Farm Confectionery at Brisbane Airport's domestic terminal. Our flight was delayed and we used the time to sample some milk chocolate-coated passionfruit macadamias. The staff rostered on 2 January 2023 was very friendly, helpful and we actually had a good time at the airport instead of stressing-out about our delayed flight. The product had just the right level of sweetness and the macadamia nut inside was huge, giving it a very creamy texture. We can't wait to visit again!See more..

WHAT AN EXPERIENCE!! I cant thank Jack enough for assisting me to get the PADI open water certification! I would recommend him to anyone who is in Portland. Everyone I spoke to at the shop was efficient and kind and made the booking process super easy. I also had to change my dates 3 times and it was always accommodated for. Jack was professional, patient, knowledgable and super passionate about diving. I was very nervous about the whole experience but from the first pool session I was blown away with the easy to follow instructions. if you are ever in portland and have the time i would highly recommend you go with Jack, his knowledge on the area is second to none.See more..

We visited Otway National Park (Otway Fly) , Forres and Lake Elisebeth 12 Upholsters during a four day holiday at Apollobay in Victoria over the long week end from 11th March to 15th March 23. 12 Upholsters was not knew to us as we have been there many times but Otway fly was new and we were impressed with the staff help as my wife was feable and return walk was adidifficult. They provided transport on our return journey. I was surprised that only two persons are managing the place to ensure visitor safety and requirements. We also visited the light house and Triplet Falls. I would recommend anyone to go there and visit Otway fly as the help is availble. Appolobay Beach front Motel is the place where we stayed during four days and on the last day we were without WiFi and I could not believe the explanation given by the Manager which is uncommon. If you are going to book the Beach front Motel make sure they offer you the WiFi during the entire period.See more..
