Went to the Philip island tour on the 21st of Nov 2022. Our tour guide Graeme was the sweetest guide ever. Very detailed on the tour explanations. Also did make us have a good laugh with his koala song and what made me felt warm was that he would try his best to drop the female customers traveling alone to their nearest hotel location instead of the normal pick up point if it’s too far to ensure their safety. The 6-day Murray River cruise from Echuca on the P. S. Emmylou was an excellent experience. Scott and James were our Captains who gave us commentary as we steamed along the Murray. Scott was also the engineer who gave a very informative talk on how the 1906 steam engine operates. The large variety of outstanding meals (and birthday cakes) prepared by Chef Greg and delivered by our excellent host Julie were exceptional, you will not be disappointed or go hungry. We thoroughly enjoyed the off-boat itinerary with the company of all our fellow passengers and crew, especially the campfire entertainment with Wazza. Not to forget our bus drivers Ross and Tony. The tour starts from a rustic little jetty a 20 minute walk from the excellent Cape Bridgewater cafe. It takes less than 5 minutes to reach the seals, who are there in abundance, lazing on the rocks and sleepily watching the boat drift by. Amazing value! We had the most magical evening on Lake Elizabeth with Bruce. The surroundings are wonderful and the lake so still, just like a mirror. Bruce is very knowledgeable and gave snippets of information about the platypus throughout the evening. Within a few minutes we enjoyed our first sighting. We got an amazingly clear view of a platypus swimming towards the canoes and watched as it swam alongside us and then dive down into the water. It was a true privilege to be in the same environment as these elusive creatures. We enjoyed seeing them without disturbing them. I would thoroughly recommend.See more..

We loved the 4WD experience in the Victorian High Country & seeing Craigs Hut & Bindaree Falls. We wouldn’t have been able to take our car there ourselves let alone navigate the tracks. What a truly amazing trip we had with Bruce Went to Craig’s Hut lucky enough to see snow.We had a great lunch with snow as a tablecloth Bruce is an amazing guide and an extremely knowledgeable 4WD driver We went places we never would have gone because of this and it was very exciting.Bruce is very accommodating and takes you to many beautiful sites and waterfalls Can not recommend Bruce high enoughSee more..

Had a wonderful experience with Sally from Tour de Senses. Thoroughly enjoyed our stops at Box Grove with Sarah and her amazing diversity of wines . Next stop Jenny at Magyars Hill entertaining and good reds. Followed by a delicious lunch at Fowles with a very nice glass of Pinot Noir. Third Winery Veldhuis a small Winery new to the market and very nice wines. Last was David Treagar a very experienced Winery with fab Vedelho.See more..
Highly recommended! There were six of us which was more than the normal private tour so Vinnie worked around this and drove us in our van, taking us to the main sites but also to places only the locals know. He told us the fascinating history and geology of the area, helping us see so much more than we otherwise would, and brought his binoculars along for us all to see the animals and views up close. He picked some local berries for us to try and lunch was on a private property surrounded by gum trees with lots of koalas. Vinnie also told us about the local animals, land management and industries. He showed us a tiger snake he caught recently and explained how to keep safe from snakes, and natural remedies. Vinnie kept four teenagers entertained and interested for the day. A very interesting, insightful and enjoyable day!See more..

Brad gave us - Prompt communication, Detailed maps, Camp site suggestions, A Quality canoe, Paddles, Water proof storage containers and bags, Car parking, Transfers up river and collection at the end! All we had to do was show up, pack our gear and we were off and paddling very soon after. This would be a great way for backpackers to see a slice of Oz in a very relaxed and affordable way. I decided to try some mountain biking around the Anglesea area recently. GORATs was really easy to book and Simon (the owner) is great to deal with. He made the MTB tour really fun and I enjoyed trying something new. The price was great for the amount of time we got (about 4 hours). And everything was provided (bike, helmets, lollies..). The group was a great size too; small enough to allow having a chat to everyone and meet some new people. Great views and a great way to see the local area! The bike was well-serviced and I did not encounter any problems. Highly recommend the MTB tour around Anglesea and I'd love to try some of the other activities that GORATs offer!! We booked a full day survival course. I love watching Man vs Wild and other similar TV shows about survival tips and tricks, and I thought I knew a bit of it. But what Charlie and Tory thought us was completely different and to be able to do and learn the tricks with an expert was just terrific. On top of that, they both were very patient and extremely hospitable. They prepared an impressive outback feel lunch for all of us and we also received a all in one survival kit.
