    Such a beautiful spot located near a man made natural lake. The grassed area is perfect for a picnic with lots of shade. The water area is popular with kayakers or just to wad through on a hot day. Underneath the weir gates is also worth a look walking along the fish ladder.     Five kilometre well maintained track along the Campbells Creek through some interesting bush land. Well cared for by local landcare there are new plantings and some well developed bush as well. Great fun to ride or walk for all ages. Seats along the way to rest as well as Information Shelters describing animals, birds and other creatures and plants found along the creek. Shelters include QR codes that are useful to scan with mobile phones and find out heaps more. See more..

    My wife and I went on this one kilometer walk (each way) from Lorne Beach to Lorne Pier (Jetty) along the coastline. There are established walking tracks all the way. We saw a few people walking their dogs and a few other people who were jogging on this track. The views are very scenic, as can be seen from the photographs attached. See more..
