Really captures the dynamic history of the moving image
Light: Works from Tate’s Collection This was an interesting exhibition with over 70 exhibits from London’s Tate gallery It was divided into themes and artwork was selected to illustrate the ideas. All the greats Constance, Turner, Monet, Pissarro and Kandinsky were represented but also through to contemporary artists, sculptures and installationist of light such as Turrell I thought the only significant omission was Man Ray. After the exhibition revisited the other galleries which really capture the dynamic history of the moving image. Well worth devoting a few hours to wander and interact with exhibits

Afternoon Visit
ACMI was super cool! There were lots of interesting displays with lots of history about movies, the equipment they use and how things have changed over time. The 'collectable chip' that you carry and swipe at the displays was a lot of fun! Would recommend a couple of hours spent here, exploring the different areas of film making. Having more seating around the displays would help those less mobile.
