Picasso Exhibition a must see
Though it is a $30 entry fee to see the Picasso Exhibition - Melbourne's Winter Masterpiece show piece - it was well worth the money. Often we have found when overseas exhibitions come to Australia you get just a microcosm of the artist's work and often of their less well known pieces. Here there was a good representation of Picasso's work through various periods of his life and with clear explanations of the different styles. I am no art expert but i think the exhibition caters to most people who appreciate the Arts. There were some works of his contemporaries and his muses too.

Great Museum
Don't miss this if you're in Melbourne. Excellent exhibits. Free so you can go back on several days - easy to get to in the CBD. The McQueen exhibit is great. Docking a point because the guards are fascist and obnoxious and always close the exhibits early. 5 PM is already quite early, why throw people out even earlier without posting the allegedly real times?
