We loved The Olde Pink House

The Olde Pink House is a must restaurant to put on your agenda when visiting Savannah! Delicious food, Excellent staff. Fantastic atmosphere. The shrimp and grits appetizer was scrumptious as was the rest of our meal. They have a vocalist who sings for birthdays, anniversaries and other occasions. And when we talked to her in the hall, she asked our favorite singer and she then proceeded to sing one of Aretha Franklin’s songs right there! Phenomenal. We highly recommend going down to the tavern bar where there is live music starting at 7:30 pm. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxing down there and just away from everything!

    Top Priority in Savannah
If you are visiting Savannah, make this your top priority. I went here 11 years ago and I have been saying for 11 years that the best meal that I have ever had was at the Olde Pink House. So, when my best friend and I came back this October this was our top priority. It didn't disappoint. It was as amazing as I remembered from back then. I got the shrimp, and it was amazing. My only suggestion is that if you planning to visit, get your reservations NOW. We booked reservations months ago, and we could only get reservations at 9:30. Also, our waiter was amazing. He was very polite and very engaging which I appreciated.

    Pretty Pink House
I was in Savannah in November, but was unable to secure reservations as you need to book months in advance. On my return trip in March I was so happy to get in for dinner. The house is beautiful inside and out. All the dining rooms are well appointed. We dined upstairs in the "new" section meaning it was not part of the original house. The service was exceptional from start to finish. My husband ordered two appetizers ( cornbread coated oysters and a salad) and the special for an entree ( trout stuffed with seafood). I am vegan so figured I would probably only have the option of a salad and a few side vegetables. The waiter told me the Chef had a great vegan entree of grilled vegetables ( mushrooms, asparagus, red peppers) over cuoscous with a balsmic finish. My husband devoured his dishes and said they were all memorable. My entree consisted of a pile of vegetables all mixed together ( peas, corn, carrots, green beans and asparagus) with balamic glaze artfully swizzled on the sides of the plate. The peas, corn and carrots reminded me of the Pic Sweet farms frozen mixed vetables bags both in taste and appearance. The green beans and asparagus were OK. All the vegetables tasted like they had been steamed and were bland. I was puzzled how such a creative kitchen couldn't come up with an actual plant based dish. Vegan food when prepared properly is very good ( example Cafe Sunflower in Atanta). I honestly think I might have been better off ordering the side dishes that weren't seasoned with pork. I am giving 4 stars because the service was flawless and my husband continues to talk about his meal.
