There is also an air exchange system to ensure air in the atriums does not become stale. The system exchanges air four times in a 24-hour period. Wear comfortable shoes, definitely hills and lots of walking. Wear comfortable clothes. Bought the serum for the birds to pretty much attack you and drink it up. Highly recommend we were all cracking up!! If you can’t do steep hills you may want to look into the driving golf cart tours. Just walking into the place is intense with the steep hill you are standing in line to pay for the tickets. Arrived right when it opened. Planned to go eat after. Definitely do that. When we were leaving around noon the parking lot was mobbed. Not sure anyone else could fit. Opted to not eat there. Way to small decided to go to BBQ BUSTN BUTTS after. Only a few min away. Ole Smoky Whiskey Barrelhouse image
Having been to Gatlinburg a few times over recent years, I have always noticed these "whiskey" establishments but never felt inclined to enter --- until now. I had some free time, and I thought I would treat myself to this experience. The place wasn't very crowded, and I was able to look around unimpeded. Then I decided to approach one of the bartender stations. Catalina was the employee who assisted me and another guest. She was polite and humorous as she explained the procedure for the tasting and the costs of any purchase, some of which came with a color (size of cooler dependent on number of bottles purchased). Catalina did her part in making the experience fun and enjoyable. I enjoyed the various samples. I requested a specific flavor that wasn't among the ones typically featured, and Catalina allowed me to have my request in place of one of the other flavors. When I left the station, I did make a purchase and got a complementary cooler. Give it a shot! See more..

This great area, in downtown Knoxville, offers great shopping and many places to dine. The grounds are lovely, well kept, and pedestrian only. It is a great place to just stroll. We were lucky enough to visit the weekend of the Chalk Walk. Many artists came out to create their masterpieces for all to enjoy. That was a very pleasant surprise! River Rat Whitewater Rafting image
I can't say enough about this experience. The crew was so fun and exciting. They all had different fun outfits on and really seemed to love what they do. There was never a dull moment, even on the bus ride up the river they were telling stories and joking and laughing. We chose the extreme raft and were lucky enough to get the coolest, funniest and most knowledgeable guide on the river, Ewok! He took us down runs that none of the other rafts were going down and did a bunch of different moves and tricks with us. He was so personable and friendly. I was really nervous about rafting for the first time and he made me feel super comfortable. Wouldn't have changed anything about it. See more..

    - Fun with Raft One and Junior!
Saturday: 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM Water Sports
    Raft One image
Raft One was one of the best whitewater rafting experiences we’ve taken and we’ve been on many. It started with an excellent safety presentation that was funny and entertaining enough to keep everyone engaged and continued with the easiest and most time efficient load out of equipment and rafts and then onto the buses for the short ride to the Middle Ocoee. Junior was an outstanding guide who figured out quickly that we wanted adventure and we’re willing to take a few risks for the big payoff. In other words he pushed our group right to the edge for two and a half thrilling hours and finished us off with a expertly executed boat flip that left us all smiling and cheering. Importantly he took charge of the boat and made sure everyone was safe even when we wanted a little more. He was the consummate pro and clearly loved his job on the Ocoee. Junior is the kind of guide that brings you back and we will be back for another exciting day of fun with Raft One. See more..
