    Amazing Hospitality by Debbie
During our trip to Tennessee my mother and I decided to try a vip wine tour that included this winery as one of the options. We absolutely loved the atmosphere of Sugarland and the hospitality of the staff. Debbie was absolutely amazing! She did a fantastic job at suggesting good pairings, having a great conversation, and enlightening us to more hot spots around gatlinburg. If you are around the area l definitely suggest this cute and quaint establishment for tasty wine! Thanks for adding to our great trip Debbie!!

    Good wine. Great service.
We didn’t intend to do a wine tasting. We wandered into Sugarland and were invited to taste the wines. Robin was our hostess. She allowed us to choose 4 wines to taste, explaining details about each. She also encouraged us to try the other 2 wineries nearby. Although she was quite busy with other patrons, Robin took the time to change the glasses or rinse out our glasses between each tasting. This was really appreciated once we had moved on. We went to the two other wineries to see what they had to offer. The other wines were ok, but the service was nowhere near what we enjoyed at Sugarland. The hosts were nice but indifferent. They didn’t ask us many questions or offer much information about the wines. I kind of got the impression that we were pegged as tourists just looking for the freebies (which was embarrassing.) We didn’t have time to return to Sugarland to make our purchases, but will be going back before our trip is over. Good job, Robin. And thank you.
