Give it a shot!

Having been to Gatlinburg a few times over recent years, I have always noticed these "whiskey" establishments but never felt inclined to enter --- until now. I had some free time, and I thought I would treat myself to this experience. The place wasn't very crowded, and I was able to look around unimpeded. Then I decided to approach one of the bartender stations. Catalina was the employee who assisted me and another guest. She was polite and humorous as she explained the procedure for the tasting and the costs of any purchase, some of which came with a color (size of cooler dependent on number of bottles purchased). Catalina did her part in making the experience fun and enjoyable. I enjoyed the various samples. I requested a specific flavor that wasn't among the ones typically featured, and Catalina allowed me to have my request in place of one of the other flavors. When I left the station, I did make a purchase and got a complementary cooler. Give it a shot!

    If I could give this place 10 stars I would. We were at the one in Gatlinburg. Great experience and fantastic employees. Breylan did our tasting and he was so informative about how you could use the whiskey for cooking and other things. At checkcout Destany did a great job and gave us discounts that really added up. On our way to our car the bag they gave us broke and two bottles broke. We took them to the one in Pigeon Forge and they exchanged them without any hassle. Great time and great people. Worth the visit and the bourbon is fantastic. We now have six bottles of caramel whiskey, two jars of hot and spicy pickles and 4 cans of Moscow Mule to take home. Party at our house.

    Fun Tasting!
    Our tasting host, Soda, (the person, not the drink) was the best part of the tasting, entertaining us with his antics! The alcohol was pretty good too. We bought the Apple Pie moonshine and Chocolate Peanut Butter Cream Whiskey. $5 per person for the tasting goes to your purchase.
