Worth the visit

Nestled inside a giant ship-shaped building, the Titanic Museum tells the story of the RMS Titanic’s fatal maiden voyage in 1912. Upon arrival, receive a boarding pass—of an actual crew member or passenger who was onboard the ship—from a costumed staff member; and discover his or her fate at the end of your visit. Here, you can take a photo on the Grand Staircase, explore the galleries, sit in a lifeboat, touch an iceberg, and view over 400 actual historic artifacts recovered from the ship. Don’t leave without seeing the world’s largest LEGO Titanic replica, which is built to scale using 56,000 bricks. – Tripadvisor

An actual museum, not a “tourist trap”!
I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of this museum. It is interesting, factual, actually has titanic artifacts, and is immaculate. The content of the tour is very good, it appears to be updated regularly highlighting different aspects of the history of the passengers on the ship. Currently it is highlighting the Jewish passengers. I think that is a great idea which will make repeat visits interesting and informative. It is a popular attraction so I recommend reserving tickets online and they seem to sell out based on times available for me to book. Even with limited attendance it is still very crowded, particularly on the first floor, which is my only critique. It’s impossible to be able to freely roam around to see everything with so many people. You mostly just have to follow with your spot in the crowd, especially the areas that are to scale in the third class passenger area. That being said we were able to see almost everything and were able to listen to the narrations, often both the adult version and child focused version due to having to wait to move forward. I feel that it was worth the cost and I would like to return at a less busy time to really spend time reading all of the exhibits.

Very interesting although a little long/pricey.
Visited the week of Thanksgiving 2021. The museum was interesting and I really liked the biograghical cards detailing the life of an actual passenger where you find out at the end whether the person lived or died. The museum was very interesting but after a while the kids started getting bored and I left the electronic tour guide device alone altogether. The room that simulated the weather conditions and water temperatures the night of the sinking was cool. The museum I thought was a little pricey until one of the guides mentioned a family rate that was previously unpublished. I think advertising this rate might bump up the number of people attending. Also you might want to think about making an appointment as they try to control the number of people going through the museum.
