This mountain ridge is home to three scenic attractions: Ruby Falls, Rock City, and the Incline Railway. Ruby Falls is the country’s tallest and deepest underground waterfall at 260 feet, while Rock City is where you can supposedly see seven states at the iconic Lover’s Leap. Then, brace yourself as you hop on the Incline Railway—the steepest passenger railway in the world. We recommend you spend at least 4 hours at Lookout Mountain to experience the highlights. Breathtaking ride to Rock City
Incredible view from the top of Rock City. Ruby Falls requires an on line reservation weeks before your arrival for admission. Take the short route through Rock City unless you are able to walk almost a mile up and down stairs through rock formations

Photos when googling Lookout Mountain are misleading. There are 3 separate areas with 3 separate entry fees and are more than walking distance apart. #1 is Rock City or the location with view of 5 states; #2 Ruby Falls and #3 Incline Railway (these 2 are in same vicinity). Chattanooga does a good job with signage so relatively easy to find when entering area.
