    We've done three Disney parks in the past three days (all but Animal Kingdom) with COVID restrictions in place, and EPCOT was the only one that was any fun. I think it was because of the Food and wine festival; the food was really delicious and reasonably priced, and you could take the dang mask off while you ate. We sampled food from Brazil, Morocco, Hops & Barley, Canada, and the Mac & Cheese stand; everything was good, though Canada's filet mignon ruled the rest as usual. We were also able to ride pretty much anything as a walk on. It did rain, which complicated things a bit. We asked a cast member if the Skyliner closes during rain and she said NO. (Answer: it does during thunderstorms). At that point, since we had believed her, we had walked all the way up to the International Gateway, and our choices were to walk all the way back through the park to the bus stops in front or to go to Boardwalk. In the rain. We went to Boardwalk, but it was a tough end to the day. Also, the construction makes things pretty nasty-- I don't think Disney should be charging full price for a park in this shape. Recommend entering the fort, and then turning left and visiting the rooms in a clockwise motion (this way you'll visit the exhibits in their chronological order) until you've completed the ground level, then proceed to the upper level for some great views.     Fort Lauderdale owes me nothing! Was a little skeptical about the beach being full of seaweed as told by hotel staff. However when we got there it was clean and beautiful! Being from the Virgin Islands, we can be beach snobs! I'm glad the hotel staff was wrong. Was just like home, clean clear to the bottom and warm...once I got in. My only downfall was the prices for the blue beach chairs and umbrellas. $18 per chair and $25 for the umbrella ($61 total) is a BIT excessive for me and all the other folks who brought their own stuff. We were surprised with the cost, as there was no attendant when we arrived and for an hour after we were enjoying ourselves. There were also no signs posted regarding the cost.     Two seniors visited here in late January 2023 and had an excellent day. We literally spent from 10am until 5pm here. Between the actual lighthouse, the shipbuilder’s area (where they are building a couple of actual sea-going boats), the archaeology conservation building and the actual three story museum, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Note that we are history nerds and tend to absorb/read all of the information available, so YMMV in how long you stay. They even offer lighthouse keeper tours for a few dollars more that looked interesting but were all filled up for our available times. The actual museum had exhibits on the lighthouse, the keepers and their families, commercial shrimping in the area, and underwater archaeology they have done in the local rivers including cannons and other artifacts from the Revolutionary War that they have found and are conserving.     Best outlet in Orlando with the most choice and the highest amount of more premium brands (such as Gucci, Prada etc.). The current exchange rate is poor, so everything wasn't as good value as usual (however appreciate this is not the fault of the outlet!) but just be aware of this. Certain brands are actually cheaper to buy in Europe, with Gucci being around 5% more expensive than in the UK, so not a place to come if you're looking for 'deals'.
