5.0River Ventures(5.811 reviews) - This is the ONLY Company you should book with! Saturday: 6:00 AM - 5:00 PM Scuba & Snorkelling • Boat Tours • Nature & Wildlife Tours • Stand Up Paddleboarding • Kayaking & Canoeing
If I could give them 10 stars I would and here's why: * Outstanding customer service! My mom (who's 80) is mobility limited. I was concerned about booking the Manatee snorkel adventure for myself, with her as a ride along, because of her ability to access the pontoon. We went the day before the snorkel and chatted with Bruno at the front desk. He mad sure we received all the answers to our questions plus reassurance they would make it work for her. Not only did they fulfill their word, they went above and beyond on the care they provided for her * The snorkel itself was beyond any expectation I had! Shanna was my snorkel instructor as well as photographer who made sure that my experience was one I would always remember. We spent over an hour with a mom manatee and her young pup with Shanna gently guiding me into the best position to stay connected with them both. The photos she took are wall hanging worthy! * Matt was our captain and he made sure that my mom was receiving attention while I was in the water. He shared stories, information and education on the area and the manatees. When I finished my snorkel, we still had a few minutes left so he took us on a quick tour of the area, pointing out areas of interest to keep my mom engaged. This company treated us as friends and at times like family. They really are THE Best!See more..
We booked a manatee snorkeling tour for three people with fun 2 dive as they offer tours for small groups. This was perfect for us as our party included a 4 year old. We ended up with just the three of us. A private tour for the regular price. Lucky us. Captain Dylan and guide Gaby quickly found the manatees, made great pictures and made sure our son could safely join the water as well. We ended up swimming for almost two hours with a group of manatees including little ones. Again special thanks to Gaby and Dylan for making this a never to forget experience!See more..
I recommend that you take the EARLY trip, you will be on the water before the sun rises and anchoring as the sun is coming up. The manatees are more active and will likely come right up to you if you remain quiet and still. The captains and in-water guides are VERY professional and really took care of our kids. They gave them hot chocolate and a donut when they get out of the water, they really loved their trip. See more..
5.0River Safaris - Adventures on the Wild Side(2.160 reviews) - Above and beyond hospitality Saturday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Scuba & Snorkelling • Boat Tours • Boat Rentals • Nature & Wildlife Tours • Speed Boats Tours
We travel in a large RV and had a cruise reservation for 9:00 AM on a Saturday. On Friday we received an email from River Safaris that there was going to be a very large artisan fair on Saturday and the roads will be jammed with both car and foot traffic and navigating the narrow roads with our RV may be vert difficult. We informed them that we were running ahead of schedule so they made arrangements for us to have a private cruise on Friday afternoon allowing us to be out of the area prior to the start of the fair. Our guide "Irish Dave" was fantastic. He carefully brought us into the middle of 20+/- dolphins swimming and jumping all around the boat. On our way back to the dock we had a bald eagle fly right over our heads. Great day with great people. See more..

Paddle boarded in Daytona on 02/07/23 12:30 PM and it was a great time. We didn't have much luck with the wildlife, but the day was beautiful and our group was fun. Ryan was our tour guide and he was very informative, entertaining, and personable with all of us! He was also kind enough to get a few pictures of us while out on the water!!! We bought phone bags so we could take pictures out on the water and not worry about dropping our phones. They have cute colors at the shop for around $13! We also got a restaurant recommendation, "Off the Hook" and it was a great suggestion, Thank you! Thank you again for a fun experience. I would definitely recommend others to try!See more..
what a blast!!! The adventure started out with a thrilling ride across the lake in the airboat before slipping into a swamp via a hidden river. Captain Steve weaved our boat through ancient trees waving strands of Spanish moss. You feel like you’ve gone through a time warp and entered a new world - deep in the bayou. As we made our way down the river, on our way to see one of the many natural springs, Captain Steve pointed out all the wildlife and told stories of the trees and foliage. We saw a lot of alligators throughout the trip and Captain Steve swung the boat around to be sure that everyone got to see each one. Every guest is invited to hold a live alligator, with plenty of time for photos. As an added bonus, we even got to see a bald eagle! Captain Steve was awesome. He was funny, interactive, and very knowledgeable. The entire staff was very accommodating and personable, they make you feel life family and you get the sense that they really want to share it all with you.See more..

Wayne was wonderful - August might not be the most “active” time for animals - but he found us about a dozen gators and other critters. Being the only ones made it perfect. Definitely a professional group. Will go back next time. THANK YOU!!!See more..
Captain Traci was fantastic! We had an early morning tour with our two boys, 3 and 7, and she also had her mom and sister on our tour. They were all very friendly and took pictures to share with us. Our kids were so excited but a little afraid to get in the water with the manatee but they were great at talking to them and showing them where to look while my husband and I were in the water. Such a great experience!See more..
4.5Tom and Jerry's Airboat Rides(448 reviews) - Natural Beauty & a great ride! Saturday: 12:00 AM - 11:59 PM Adrenaline & Extreme Tours • Boat Tours • Eco Tours • Private Tours • Nature & Wildlife Tours
I was expecting to be disappointed by what seemed to be a roadside attraction. But I was wrong! We spent over an hour in a gorgeous wetland area, enjoying the absolute beauty of the ecosystem. We saw a vulture colony, incredible birds, gorgeous trees and even an alligator. Captain Joe gave us a great tour and such a fun ride. The boat was safe for families, and went just fast enough to give us a thrill ride. I’m so glad we took a chance on this. It was worth it.See more..
5.0Pura Vida Divers(440 reviews) - Two Day Blast With Pura Vida Divers! Saturday: 7:00 AM - 6:30 PM Scuba & Snorkelling • Water Sports • Nature & Wildlife Tours • Self-Guided Tours & Rentals • Photography Tours
Wendy and I dove two days with Pura Vida Divers using Mike on day one as a guide at the Blue Herron Bridge and Suzie as a guide for a two tank ocean dive on day two. Of course BHB did not fail to disappoint and Mike made sure we got to find plenty of critters to photograph. The ocean dives were both drift dives and Suzie did an outstanding job making sure we were set and ready to go and of course getting us to the Goliath Groupers on the dive sites. Again both Mike and Suzie were excellent dive guides and would recommend them both in the future. I cannot remember the names of the rest of the boat crew but under the direction of Capt Dean we could not have had better care and service from load on/off of the boat, the cleanliness of the bot and the briefings, we were always safe and well informed. Capt Dean did an excellent job with the drift dives and made those two dives a very cool experience. Thanks again to Pura Vida Divers and all of their staff we look forward to a return trip!!See more..
5.0Blue Heaven River Tours(398 reviews) - Amazing experience with the manatees Saturday: 7:00 AM - 9:00 PM Scuba & Snorkelling • Boat Tours • Private Tours • Dolphin & Whale Watching • Nature & Wildlife Tours
We did the 3 hour Manatee tour with Captain Ron and it was amazing! We got to swim with and pet lots of manatees. We were in the perfect spot...they just kept coming. We even saw some dolphins and monkeys right when we got on the boat. Captain Ron did a great job instructing us on where and how to swim up to the manatees so we wouldn't scare them away. The tips were great and listening sure paid off! This was an experience of a lifetime! Highly recommend it. And Captain Wyn was so patient with answering all of my questions when booking. He even talked us out of spending the extra money on a stand-up paddleboard, knowing we wouldn't have enough time to use it. Thanks for saving us the extra $50! This tour will give long lasting memories!See more..
Today we closed out our week vacation here in Florida by going on the snorkeling, dolphin and shelling cruise. Captain Brian made it extra special with his knowledge of the area, interaction with the dolphins and calm personality. I'd request him over and over again!See more..
5.0South Florida Paddle(306 reviews) - Took advantage of the weekday rental special and had a morning full of marine life in paradise! Saturday: 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM Eco Tours • Night Tours • Nature & Wildlife Tours • Stand Up Paddleboarding
Another amazing paddle board trip with South Florida Paddle. We took advantage of the weekday rental special 4 hours for 30 dollars. Can't beat that! Marissa explained to us the conditions before heading out she also told us where to look for marine life. We first headed out under the bridge to the sandbar. We spotted so many sea turtles, a stingray and manatees! The water was crystal clear and the perfect spot to chill out. Being that it was a weekday the boat traffic was minimum and it was actually very quiet. We still had remaining time and decided to head over to Fullerton island. Upon arrival back in Marissa was there to collect the gear and showed us a hose to clean our feet. Thanks for always taking good care of us!See more..
4.5Airboats & Alligators(306 reviews) - Great Tour/ Great Value Saturday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Boat Tours • Nature & Wildlife Tours
Excellent tour with Captain Ken and we had bonus of his co-pilot daughter Kailee since it was a holiday and no school. Ken was very knowledgeable and had the ideal amount of information. He did an outstanding job of pointing out many birds and animals we would have missed. We saw many alligators of various sizes. He knew where to look! As a bonus, this was the most reasonably priced airboat tour. Life jackets and headphones were provided if desired. I would greatly recommend this tour. Easy to get to from Fort Meyers/ Cape Coral.See more..
I would recommend this eco tour on the Homosassa River or any of their tours offered. We had the boat to ourselves and Rick was our captain. He was very knowledgeable, polite and responsive to our requests during the tour. We had visitors from the north and they thoroughly enjoyed it; including a 15-year-old teenager! Luckily, the weather was perfect for a late December day and we learned a lot about the river, it's history and the Homosassa area. We were also given discount tickets to the Homosassa Wildlife Refuge Center (state park) which we visited afterwards and enjoyed very much. I would also like to comment on the office personnel. I had to add another person after having booked 4 of us originally and was able to add one more person without a hitch. The woman I spoke with was polite, professional and easy to deal with. Hats off to Rick and staff for a VERY enjoyable river ride and for making our day one of the best. Denise/Mike and guestsSee more..
5.0Paddle Jax Amelia(286 reviews) - Sunset photography cruise to see wild horses Saturday: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM Water Sports • Nature & Wildlife Tours • Self-Guided Tours & Rentals • Kayaking & Canoeing
We had an incredible private boat charter sunset photography cruise to see the wild horses on Cumberland Island. Our captain was wonderful - he kept journeying through the marsh to get us as close as he could to the horses we spotted. He provided binoculars which we really appreciated. We highly recommend this excursion if you are in Amelia Island for a few days.See more..
5.0Get Up And Go Kayaking - Weeki Wachee(285 reviews) - Great staff, awful boats/boards Saturday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Boat Tours • Eco Tours • Nature & Wildlife Tours • Kayaking & Canoeing
Our guide Vinney was great. Lots of useful information about local wildlife and conservation. We didn't see any manatees on our tour, but that the nature of animal behavior. The staff (Taylor) on the phone was very patient and professional to deal with. THE CATCH: The clear plastic paddle boards and kayaks this company uses are awful. I have a lot of experience paddle boarding and these boards are very hard to paddle, a lot of paddling for little movement due to excess drag, I was worn out at the end of the 6 mile paddle for this reason alone and the kayaks were uncomfortable due to design. I would highly recommend going with a company who have regular inflatable paddle boards or regular sea kayaks as this prevented a lot of enjoyment of an otherwise great tour. When you reinvest in more boats, please get regular boards and kayaks!!! This is the only reason I gave a five star review, so you get more points/money for new and better boats.See more..
5.0Island Kayak Tours, LLC(250 reviews) - Take this tour! Saturday: 6:00 AM - 10:00 PM Boat Tours • Water Sports • Eco Tours • Nature & Wildlife Tours • Kayaking & Canoeing
For us, kayaking thru mangroves & understanding from Scott, our guide, how they’re formed was just the best! Scott and his wife Carissa, both grew up here and shared their deep knowledge of the area. Learning that the island we paddled to wasn’t even there 50 years ago - that it had been formed by weather over that short amount of time - really kind of blew our minds. Then, to be able to spend time combing Shell Key was so much fun. You’d be hard pressed to find a better way to spend three hours of your time. Could not recommend it highly enough.See more..
My family and I were in town for the holiday and decided last minute to do an airboat tour. We called Florida Airboating and they were so informative and reasonably priced, I decided to book a private tour. Captain Brad showed us an amazing time and was so knowledgeable. This was definitely a highlight of our trip!See more..
Capt Josh and his lovely wife Brittany who handles most of communication, so Capt josh can do his thang, are awesome. And that’s before we got on the water. We had a 7:15 launch and on time off we went. He made us feel very comfortable from the start and communication through the headsets was nice. Pointing out several native beautiful birds, over 13 crocs/ gators, a beautiful bald eagle in flight then pirched for us to see its Glory. The details he points out to make the experience even better so your not darting your eyes all over the place is great, we were able to find everything he was pointing out by his expertise. The boat ride itself is very smooth and actually relaxing. I do recommend the earlier the better as it’s like going across glass literally and the wildlife was beautiful on a dew topped swamp / lake. I’ll be returning for many more trips when we get moved to Florida. Thanks for a wonderful experience. Definitely recommend 100 %.See more..
5.0Smallwood Store Boat Tour(230 reviews) - Stop thinking about it and sign up! Saturday: 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM Boat Tours • Eco Tours • Fishing Charters & Tours • Dolphin & Whale Watching • Nature & Wildlife Tours
I took a 2-hour sunset cruise with Captain Gary and it was a wonderful experience. I was traveling solo and one advantage of going through Smallwood Store was that visiting the museum offered an opportunity to meet and team up with another solo traveler (so we could share the minimum cost). Gary is patient, kind, knowledgeable, skilled, funny, and great company. He's part of a historic family in the area, which adds a lot to the experience, and he knows a lot about wildlife. He also takes great joy in wildlife, which adds to everyone's enjoyment. Do it! Sign up!See more..
5.0Mack's Fish Camp - Tours(199 reviews) - Amazing sunset tour and overnight stay! Marshall is awesome! Boat Tours • Eco Tours • Fishing Charters & Tours • Boat Rentals • Nature & Wildlife Tours
We had an amazing sunset tour with Marshall and a comfortable overnight RV stay at his place in the middle of March! The tour exceed all of our expectations and everyone in our party (2 folks in their 70s and three in their 40s and 50s) are telling everyone we meet that it's a must-do adventure when you're in south Florida. Marshall is a walking encyclopedia on all things Everglades: his explanations about the flora, fauna, geography, topology, culture, and history of the place was fascinating and added much to our experience. Of course, the airboat ride was extraordinarially thrilling and unique, and we saw tons of wildlife, including lots of adult and juvenile alligators! We highly recommend the sunset tour, as it gives you a glimpse into life in the daytime, twilight, and nighttime. We got more than we paid for, and will definitely come back for more! Thank you Marshall! See more..

I have gone on two Everglades airboat rides with Captain Wayne, and I highly recommend him! Captain Wayne loves his job, and it shows. He is excited about introducing visitors to the Everglades, he is very knowledgeable, and he is skilled at sharing that knowledge. He knows where to go to show the variety of birds, alligators, and plants. For example, on my most recent trip we saw a huge flock of white pelicans, which I had never seen before. It was amazing. Also I like the personalized in-depth approach, and the two-hour tours provide an ideal amount of time to see the variety within the Everglades. Yes, Captain Wayne's tours are more expensive than some other airboat tours, but I think it's well worth it. My friends and I enjoyed our airboat tours with Captain Wayne very much! See more..
They were so incredibly kind to our small party (even after we bungled the arrival time/location) and they were able to quickly deliver us to a mother and baby manatee. Their advice on how to approach, how to pet, and generally how to interact with the manatees ensured we were gentle and the animals were not afraid of us but approached us and allowed us to pet and scratch them. It was worth every penny and hope to do it again one daySee more..
5.0A Boat Day(138 reviews) - This is a MUST do!! Boat Tours • Sightseeing Tours • Private Tours • Dolphin & Whale Watching • Nature & Wildlife Tours
It doesn't matter if you are staying in Clearwater or St Pete's, Outlander in IRB is where to go for the most enjoyable experience. Not touristy, and even customized to your party. To say that Captain Carlos is the Dolphin Whisperer is an understatement! He thinks like them and found them for our viewing pleasure. He is very knowledgeable, the boat is first class, and the dolphin watching is beyond fantastic. It is the best thing we have ever done while vacationing in IRB for 8 years now. My cheeks hurt from smiling so much at the dolphins.. following us and hopping our waves. We did the 4 hour boat tour, but there is also a shorter one, and jet ski tours.See more..
4.5Riverside Tours Inc.(107 reviews) - Great fun on the River for this cruise! Saturday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Boat Tours • Private Tours • Nature & Wildlife Tours
We have been coming to the Palmetto area for 10 years but have never taken this cruise until now. My children wanted to give it to their mom for Mother's Day. What a super surprise it was! Our cruise was on 4/29/21 and the sunset was spectacular. The crew and 'cruise hostess' were fantastic offering lots of information as we cruised out to the gulf. After the super sunset it was more fun with games, music and for those of us daring enough dancing. One of the highlights was a stop at a local park along the Manatee River to give the kids light up bracelets!!See more..
5.0Dolphin Quest(93 reviews) - Great time even when it was a little chilly out Saturday: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM Boat Tours • Eco Tours • Sightseeing Tours • Dolphin & Whale Watching • Nature & Wildlife Tours
I took my 84 year old mother on the tour. She had never seen dolphins in the wild and in the bay we saw lots of them. It was a cloudy, cool and windy day and even though we had layers on we made use of the blankets that they wonderfully had on board as well. The tour guides were wonderful with facts about the dolphins and information on some of the beautiful homes in the area. Because it is a pontoon type vessel the tour would be wonderful for families, although it was all adults on our tour. You will pay to park at John's Pass where the tour is based, but we had no trouble finding a place to park. If you book ahead of time the ticket area is on the same level as the boat and in the buildings right behind the dock. There is a restroom there as well.See more..
5.0German Tours Everglades LLC(68 reviews) - Great tour and we don’t speak German! Eco Tours • Sightseeing Tours • Hiking & Camping Tours • Nature & Wildlife Tours • Kayaking & Canoeing
Caren was an excellent guide in the Everglades National Park. I first looked into the tour because my son has a year of high school German under his belt, but the rest of us do not. From the website, I could tell tours are offered in German, English and bilingual. The English tour was awesome! I am so glad we choose the wet walk because it is nothing like anything I’ve done before. Canoeing was memorable too! Five stars. We learned so much about the area, so much more than on our own. Thanks German Tours for a great experience. See more..

The staff was beyond exceptional; friendly and helpful. We had lots of questions and werent really sure what to do with a few extrA days in the gulf of Florida. We picked the restaurant and beach full day. It certainly was enjoyable and worth it but if had been better prepared, we could have packed our own lunch and spent the full day at the beach. Captain Mike was very entertainment and engaging to all audiences. He knows the area like nonother and enjoys telling the history of the land. December weather was perfect to enjoy a day on the boat, beach chair and snorkeling. We collected beautiful shells and enjoyed the state park. Restrooms were available and park staff operated a trolly to transport visitors from the boat dock to the beach access. It qas a beautiful place to see and learn about. Skip the airboat. You'll see and hear nothing. Walking and small boats or kayak trips are the way to see wildlife. The team was super knowledgable about wildlife, and the boat was in perfect condition, comfortable, and very professionally handled. We saw a LOT of spotted dolphins, it was truly magical. We rode some waves, pulled up to do some swimming, and took the intercoastal home. A perfect day on the water, and the kids are already asking to do it again. Good value, strongly recommend - it was truly the highlight of our trip!See more..
