Excellent golf experience at Trump Doral. A little disappointed in the $10 fee for parking. Seems a little cheap and unnecessary when you are laying out $250 for a round. Excellent program on the Junior Golfers playing for free. Nice touch and a great way to promote junior golf. The Red Tiger was in excellent shape. Fun and tricky layout. We stayed the first day since they opened after COVID. We had an amazing time, the staff was courteous and very responsible in keeping up with all the new restrictions. The resort water park was absolutely awesome, the food was great, and the place was spotless. Even though many services were limited we enjoyed our stay. Great job to a couple of the amazing employees we interacted with, Jasmine at the front desk was awesome both at checking and check out, Andre took great care of us by the pool setting up the towels and checking on us, and Eric at the pool bistro provided us with great customer service. I can't remember all the lifeguards we talked to at the slides but they all had amazing attitudes and fun to be around. The property has bikes you can rent to ride around, great almost 3 mile path all around the resort property. We keep returning to Skyview many many times over the past several months. It is our number one choice. My wife had a stunning Rack of Lamb and she said it was outstanding, great and done just as she asked. I had the Prime Rib it also was a great Dish. The best in Fine Dinning, Great Food and excellent Staff in Citrus County. We eat at Skyview all the time. They change the menu often. The service by the Staff is outstanding. And we feel they have the best food in Citrus County. Kevin and his staff do a great job taking care of the customer even if you do not eat there three times a week. The gold course at Bobcat Trail was sold over the summer. The new name is Charlotte Harbor National. The new owners are doing tons of work on the course. I have played this course more than any other in FL. It kind of feels like my "home" course. It is a little cheaper than all the other courses I've played on. It is an easy but challenging course. Easy means that it is "wide open." Word of advice: Don't do the wide open thing. You'll be in trouble. They have several holes with water to account for. The par 3 with the water is one of the best that I've played on. In fact, a number of their holes are very nice. It is one of my top 3 courses. I would say the layout is better than the other 8 courses I have played on in FL. The only negative experience I had was when they didn't honor my raincheck. For 15 bucks, couldn’t complain about anything. Well maybe the sloooooooww foursome playing in front of me for the front 9.
