If you are in Brooksville take the time to play World Woods
World Woods Golf Club is north of Brooksville. If you are within 100 miles the trip is worth the effort. Two Championship 18-Hole Golf Courses await your visit. If you are planning on playing Friday through Sunday a tee time would be wise. If you have the time and energy you can play your second-18 (On the same day) for a discounted rate.

Great holes but rough around the edges
Visited World Woods in mid January and played 18 at Pine Barrens and the front nine of Rolling Oaks. As stated below, the holes on both courses are fantastic, which is not surprising given the Fabio pedigree. Given a choice to play one, I’d pick Pine Barrens, but both courses have some very memorable holes. I’d say the course was in average condition, although the greens were in great shape and putted really well. Finally the staff was extremely polite and courteous, and were very accommodating in pushing a tee time back a couple of hours due to some nasty weather in the early morning. Now the bad, which is consistent with earlier reviews… the place really needs some money invested to buff things up. Broken cart paths, aging clubhouse, cut down trees that need to be cleared, etc…. it ain’t cheap to play (we paid ~$100).. if you can get a rate in the 50-60 dollar range, which I saw in earlier reviews, it might be ok based on the shot-making challenges that the holes require, but I don’t think I’d play it again for $100.
