We booked a manatee snorkeling tour for three people with fun 2 dive as they offer tours for small groups. This was perfect for us as our party included a 4 year old. We ended up with just the three of us. A private tour for the regular price. Lucky us. Captain Dylan and guide Gaby quickly found the manatees, made great pictures and made sure our son could safely join the water as well. Beautiful morning and we had the boat all to ourselves. Instructions were clear, life vest and harnesses were snuggly put on and Jordan and Captain John made us feel comfortable. We were nervous during take off but after that it was a very calming and relaxing experience. I would do it again! Sunset Cruise Palm beach was not what I expected because it was not a catamaran with a sail. Did not have a sail at all. But we loved it. The captain did an awesome and funny job narrating an hour tour of the harbor history, exotic homes, yachts, etc. We watched the sunset with music, fruit, snacks and beverages all included. Even saw a rainbow. We appreciated having plenty of shade after being out in the sun all day. But if you want full sun it was available. I recommend it.See more..

Wendy and I dove two days with Pura Vida Divers using Mike on day one as a guide at the Blue Herron Bridge and Suzie as a guide for a two tank ocean dive on day two. Of course BHB did not fail to disappoint and Mike made sure we got to find plenty of critters to photograph. The ocean dives were both drift dives and Suzie did an outstanding job making sure we were set and ready to go and of course getting us to the Goliath Groupers on the dive sites. Again both Mike and Suzie were excellent dive guides and would recommend them both in the future. I cannot remember the names of the rest of the boat crew but under the direction of Capt Dean we could not have had better care and service from load on/off of the boat, the cleanliness of the bot and the briefings, we were always safe and well informed. Capt Dean did an excellent job with the drift dives and made those two dives a very cool experience. Captain Mark is an excellent guide and fisherman! On our trip out today, we went out to a remote area and caught fish after fish. We had our family visiting and wanted a fun and different experience for them. We found Suncoast online and booked a 2 hour Dolphin Tour thinking that would be all the kid (ages 12 & 8) could handle. It turns out we could have stayed out all day. Captain Cary was fantastic at not only captaining the boat but finding and attracting the dolphins and keeping us all entertained with facts about the wildlife and surrounding area. A group of 5 of us booked a 4 hour charter for a 30th birthday celebration. Our entire experience was wonderful! We arranged transportation with Donna which is great if you don’t have a car or want to worry about driving. But I think the best part was captain Matt! He was very friendly and polite. He went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time! Water, ice, and light snacks were provided. He took us on a scenic route, pointing out different homes and wildlife along the way. We ended up seeing quite a few dolphins! Then we stopped at a sandbar where we were able to get out and swim. He also took us to a bar & grill on the water for a quick drink before heading back. Matt played great music for us and hyped us up the whole time! He took all kinds of group photos for us which turned out great. We had an incredible private boat charter sunset photography cruise to see the wild horses on Cumberland Island. Our captain was wonderful - he kept journeying through the marsh to get us as close as he could to the horses we spotted. He provided binoculars which we really appreciated. For us, kayaking thru mangroves & understanding from Scott, our guide, how they’re formed was just the best! Scott and his wife Carissa, both grew up here and shared their deep knowledge of the area. Learning that the island we paddled to wasn’t even there 50 years ago - that it had been formed by weather over that short amount of time - really kind of blew our minds. Captain John is full of energy and information! His boat was lovely and his dog, Zoey, joined us for our excursion on the water. I booked this dive charter so my wife could go diving. Crewed by Allison, the captain, and Pam, dive master, it was a great time. Allison and Pam did everything to have a safe dive. They both reviewed the expectations so all seven divers would get the most out of the two dives. They described the two sites and what might be seen, and the best way to see them. While it may seem that everything was all seriousness, it wasn't. Allison is quite the poet. My wife had a great time. She told me that Pam and Allison made her feel very confident on the dive. She had so much fun. As always, they picked up trash, leaving the sites in better shape than when they started. Our charter dove a ledge and then a man made reef. My family spent the day with Captain Eric and had the time of our lives! He taught us so much about fishing. He was very attentive to us and wanted to be sure we enjoyed our day. He was patient with our 6 year old and kept him totally involved in reeling the fish in. At the end of our trip e cleaned our fish and let us take them home for dinner. Day trip with Captain Q and Lucas was all we could have asked for. They were a hard working captain and first mate team and were engaging with our group. They accommodated the novice anglers in the group and made sure we all brought fish into the boat. Captain Q worked hard all day to put us on fish and knew exactly where to go to give us the best experience. The boat was equipped with a bathroom, refrigerator and hangout spot that was air conditioned. On the ride out Q told some stories of the area and how the different hurricanes have reshaped the area over the years. You have no doubt about his experience on these waters! We left our day of fishing with a few bags of fish filets and great memories of a day on the water! I would highly recommend The Cutting Edge for any level of angler! We enjoyed every minute on the hydro bikes, easy to ride, very stable. You get a bit of exercise while wandering in the channel near Delnar Wiggins State Park. Lots of sun and beautiful views, explore the coves and mangrove trails without getting wet. Lots of fish were jumping all around us, we watched pelicans and herons and other birds dive down right in front of us and saw a big turtle when we beached our bikes on a lovely little patch of sand. On a recent trip to Miami I had an unexpected meeting cancellation, so I decided to go fishing to kill a day and I contacted Capt. Denis, boy was that a good decision. The weather was not the best to head out into the ocean, so we decided to stay inshore and try a few spots while we did some sightseeing. He was very knowledgeable and all around a nice person to have a conversation with while fishing. I mention this because a few years back I hired a guide out of Key Biscayne and it was like been with a drill sergeant, he got upset if the cast was not perfect etc, and that made the whole experience awful, to the point that we decided to cut the fishing trip short. Capt. Denis' boat was well prepared with the proper gear and he was always ready to help and or teach the different techniques. We had a great experience with Portofino divers. Simone and Giovanni were both amazing. Friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable. The shop is new, and looks great. I know they are going to do great. They provide a level of service we don't find around many spots in Miami where you just get a ticket to get on the boat. Giovanni and Simone both texted us well in advance about the dive, did a briefing for us in the shop, helped with equipment (lugging, and setting up, and even helped change a leaky hose for me). A great group and I am sure they will be very successful, We will be back and will bring our friends !! Note the free parking upstairs (or use the valet for free too!). The boat dock is just outside behind the shop (super convenient). We recommend them highly.See more..
