One of the great blessings of living here in Dade City is our amazing downtown. It reminds me of Mayberry off of the Andy Griffith Show. There are several antique stores to enjoy but this is by far one of the best. A large variety from Knicknaks to furniture. Many collectibles as well. Staff is well versed and super friendly. You could spend a good hour or more just perusing through the displays. We got there just before closing, but we didn't feel rushed. The lady there was helpful and friendly. The merchandise was eclectic, a mix of crafts, antiques, and collectibles. The place was exceptionally clean, and unlike many antique or collectible stores, this place has wide aisles and very few tripping possibilities. Anyone who has ever gone through an antique store knows what I mean: things all over the floor in vendor cubbies. You have to watch carefully where you walk so you don't trip. I discovered Pure Vintage with a friend and we took the short ride north of DeLand to check it out. They have a large and varied selection of items, nicely displayed. Many of them are reasonably priced - they are vintage not antique and the priced reflect that. some of them are more than I would want to pay, some are very reasonable - you can always bargain. This is a site where a number of vendors rent space and prices will vary. I was sorry to see a negative post partly because the location was out of the way. Yes, DeLand has a number of antique shops close by, but DeLand also has a parking problem. I have not found any problems in three visits and have found a couple of furniture 'must haves'.See more..
