Wonderful vegan food!!

If you are "bored" with your usual fare, are a vegan, or have a vegan in your midst, this is a great place to go for a tasty meal. The menu is long and varied. We had the jambalaya and the vegan hot dog (with a lot of toppings) which comes with fabulous french fries, and everything was delicious. The place is far from fancy (actually very little atmosphere) but go for the excellent vegan food. In addition, the staff is lovely.

    WOW WOW WOW!!!!!!!
I am a vegetarian (lacto) for 38 years and I have been waiting for a place like this. They GET IT. Just because I don't like to have animals slaughtered and kill the ozone for my dietary wants, that doesn't mean that I always want to eat sprouts and green tea. This place makes delicious food that us vegetarians have not had access to, and it makes it so good you wanna slap yo' mama! We ordered extra food to go because we wanted to sample as much as possible. Wow. My husband got the Underdog, and it was so good I almost stole it from him. I got the shrimp. Same texture and even the pinkish color. Extra crispy crust. Mind blowing. I would swear I was eating shrimp! It's made from a root that is from Asia or some far off land, and which I have never encountered in all my years of strict vegetarianism. I also got a delicious salad packed with a terrific blend of apples, cabbage, and faux chicken that LOOKED LIKE CHICKEN. Let me tell you, this is like nothing you have had before. The chef is a food artisan who is professionally trained in the culinary arts. Taste his creations. They are cruelty free and eye-popping good. Talking to the chef he has plans to expand to Brooklyn, Miami, and beyond. I can see this place really becoming a household name. I'm praying they open a place in Providence, RI!!!!!!
