We've done three Disney parks in the past three days (all but Animal Kingdom) with COVID restrictions in place, and EPCOT was the only one that was any fun. I think it was because of the Food and wine festival; the food was really delicious and reasonably priced, and you could take the dang mask off while you ate. We sampled food from Brazil, Morocco, Hops & Barley, Canada, and the Mac & Cheese stand; everything was good, though Canada's filet mignon ruled the rest as usual. We were also able to ride pretty much anything as a walk on. It did rain, which complicated things a bit. We asked a cast member if the Skyliner closes during rain and she said NO. (Answer: it does during thunderstorms). At that point, since we had believed her, we had walked all the way up to the International Gateway, and our choices were to walk all the way back through the park to the bus stops in front or to go to Boardwalk. In the rain. We went to Boardwalk, but it was a tough end to the day. Also, the construction makes things pretty nasty-- I don't think Disney should be charging full price for a park in this shape.See more..
Unlike many of the rides in the vicinity, Soarin’ is way more exciting. The ride simulates you flying over numerous world landmarks and beautiful scenery. The ride will leave your feet dangling. If you have loose-fitting shoes, you can leave them on the floor at the start of the ride as the ride will return to the same spot at the end. There is a net under each seat to place your belongings; do make sure your items are fully in the net as your seat will be lifted in the air during the ride. We used Lightning Lane for this ride, but still had a 15-minute wait to get in, though better than the hour plus wait on the regular line.See more..
We've loved this attraction since the beginning and just came back from experiencing it again for the first time since 2016. Everyone in our little extended family on on board with this one as we keep bringing the youngest members who have never been there before. This is the hotel experience of a lifetime! I have to say that this was about the longest we ever waited in line for Tower of Terror but that really didn't diminish the thrill in the end. When we got to the actual boarding area, we found that only one set of elevators was in operation because the other set was undergoing maintenance.See more..
This ride is my favorite! Definitely the best roller coaster at the disney world parks. If you like thrilling rides, this is a must. We went to Animal Kingdom on a busy day during a school break but the wait wasn’t bad. We waited about 40 minutes during the middle of the day, then went on again during the evening when the wait was only about 15-20 minutes. I love not just the ride, but the queue as well. There are many cool things to see while waiting in line. Expedition Everest is a Disney classic, if you’re at Animal Kingdom you need to go on this ride!See more..
This roller coaster was a blast. What was great about it is that it's a more "thrilling" roller coaster, but not so far extreme it's not enjoyable for all of us. I really enjoy "launch" roller coasters the most, so this is a great aspect of the ride. I'm sure the queuing video and music could use an update/refreshing, but it's still very enjoyable. Our teens liked it so much that they went back multiple times to ride it....and this coming from one who admits he's not a roller coaster fan!See more..

Great ride highlighting the Toy Story franchise. Our first visit to Disney in a few years and our first on this ride. We thought better than the Buzz Light Year shooting ride. This is easier to control and easier to see where you are shooting. It's a pretty smooth ride with stops to let you shoot at a variety of things - even a ring toss at the gift machine characters. Good for all ages. Expect long lines 60-90 minute waits unless you can get a fast pass. We were most impressed they even have specially designed cars to accommodate those in wheel chairs.See more..
We snagged a sweet fast pass for Kilimanjaro Safaris late in the evening while the sun was setting and it was absolutely gorgeous. Many of the animals were more active also. We got to see almost every animal at the park. Amazing!See more..
We took a ride on the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad while at Disney's Magic Kingdom park. With the social distance requirements, the queue for this ride was very long distance wise but it did move quickly. We still waited over an hour to get on the ride. This is one of my favorite roller coaster type rides at Disney. I love the theme and the buildup on the ride plus the tight curves and unpredictable turns on the ride. Star Tours is the oldest Star Wars ride at Disney Hollywood studios, but it’s still a very entertaining ride. The wait time for the ride was no longer than 20 minutes during my visit, I assume this was because the new Disney Star Wars attractions are attracting most park guests. This is one ride you don’t want to pass-up, you will definitely enjoy this ride, especially if you are a Star Wars fan. This is a great entertainment for the family no matter your age, and the ride will get you out of the heat if you’re visiting during the warmer parts of the year.See more..
