I visited this beautiful site while on a quick trip to the area. Of course the site was closed due to the virus. I was walking up the the visitors center and the caretaker on duty stepped out to say Hi. There was myself and two other couples within earshot when he (His name was Jesse, I believe) offered to deliver his presentation outside at the front door of the plantation. We all anxiously said YES and Jesse went on to deliver a fact-filled, colorful presentation about the Park and the history of the area. His presentation turned what was going to be a dull walk thru the Park, into a memorable highlight of my day. This was a great way to spend a nice Sunday. We went to do the sunflower maze. I like the idea of there being signs so no one bunches up during this time of social distancing. A regular maze terrifies me because I get lost. It was fun meeting the cow Rosie. She is very social and vocal. We chose to cut our own sunflowers and the fields were well managed. You could also cut flowers and vegetables. It was a fun way to get out of the house and breathe fresh air. All the staff were very nice.See more..

We love coming here! We bring several jumbo (6 lb) bags of carrots and many bunches of bananas - we always go through it all! Always bring more! There is a carrot cart that sells carrots (same price as at the store), so bring cash too. The farms are serene and beautiful, and the horses are magnificent with such amazing stories (and some sad past situations). The owners bring so much to these beautiful animals and the community. Went today and picked a pound of blueberries in about 15 minutes! Very plentiful bushes even in the first few rows, we were prepared to skip them, thinking they would be picked over. Abundant berries ripening daily I would think. Went last year at this time and had to really look hard, very muddy as we had lots of rain (not their fault obviously). My granddaughter and I visited a Funny Farm Alpaca farm today. The owners were eager to answer all our questions and gave us hands full of treats to feed them. Looking for something out of the ordinary. You would never know that this establishment was in a heavily urbanized area of Palm Beach County. Unusual wines (not grapes) and kombucha all from home grown plants and trees. Quite rustic and surrounded by chickens (eggs are for sale) and pigs (not for sale or eating). We had the wine and kombucha sampler and totally enjoyed the experience and tastes. There is beer on tap from a local brewery which I might try at another visit since I love craft beer especially from the great local breweries in Florida. You can pick up one of their saws by the gift shop and walk with your family out to the tree fields and find that perfect tree for your home. Just remember these are Florida trees so any heavy ornaments have to sit more into the tree since the branches are alittle more flexible. But it is great to get the experience of going and cutting your own tree. Just make sure small kids under 5 stay in either a carriage,wagon or close to you as the tram is tractor operated and goes through the fields. Once you cute your tree ,measure it take it to the guys to shake it for you and they will net it for the trip home then pay the ladies and you're all set .See more..

I had the avocado chicken salad, also the black garlic chicken flat bread, and my husband tried so far one of the salads, the BBQ burger and the pull pork sandwich, which to his opinion is the best pulled pork sandwich he ever tried. They also have some delicious ice teas, milkshakes and naturally flavored sparkling water. Coffee is delicious too, and we tried their chocolate pecan banana bread which was also to die for.
