Fabulous fruit
Great prices on fresh fruit and vegetables. Momma Donna’s items were rather expensive though. Also fun to walk through the trees and see jackfruit, starfruit and mangoes growing right there. My daughter requested an earlier opening time so she could get fresh fruit before her flight. They were willing to accommodate her and even pick strawberries fresh while she waited.

LOVE this place, AND the people who run it
Fruitscapes is an amazing place. The people know their stuff-whether it's mangos, fruit trees, or other exotic fruits. Momma Donna's breads, chutney, and unfiltered honey is wonderful stuff, too! We have been coming here for about 10 years (from Atlanta!) We come down to the area for 2 weeks every year, and our first stop is this place. The husband loads up on mangos, green coconuts, lychee and long ans, and whatever fabulous thing they have harvested. We buy large jars on the honey, and homemade breads (enough to take home) as well. The owners are all knowledgable and great to talk to! They have introduced us to so many new varieties of mangos. We will be moving to PI before long; we will be visiting to buy trees to grow our own mangos. If you are there in the summer, be sure to go on a Saturday, when Bea is cooking up some great papusas!

Trip to see Mango Trees
My wife and I went to get a better understanding of all the different types of Mangos available before we purchased one. We had a great time, we expected to stay about 30 minutes, but stayed over an hour as we talked with the staff, tasted fruits, toured and selected a tree to be delivered, and saw some amazing fruit trees. It is a Nursery, so not fancy, but if you are looking for tropical fruit trees, you will want to stop here!
