    With Covid, they have done a good job with social distancing, awesome Alligator bites for 19 bucks,Greek garden had mexican chicken and rice bowl gluten free,we bought Honey bee cream a really Good moisture cream for skin. We also got Salt rub for the skin for my wife in the North tent,had some chicken on a stick and spicy wings.Kids had fun at rides and played some games.Please bring cash with you,if not they will charge 1 or 1.50 surcharge on some places for credit card usage. Parkin was 10 bucks and it was not really crowded at all on Thursday.The strawberry festival ends this Sunday. See more..

    Okay so it was a bit chilly by Florida standards. There was plenty to do. The games are always thrilling to watch. All of the competitors, both men and women, are truly athletic. Of course the Caber always gets the attention but the sheaf, hammer and weight over bar events are amazing to watch as well. The skirl of the pipes always makes the heart grow fonder as does the traditional dance. If you have a mind, try the axe throwing or archery. For the kids there is always a resident Hieland Coo to marvel at. The Clans were well represented including my own Clan Gunn (Aut Pax, Aut Bellum). There is much to learn from all of them. I could have done with a bit more haggis and another Irn Bru. See more..
