Paddle boarded in Daytona on 02/07/23 12:30 PM and it was a great time. We didn't have much luck with the wildlife, but the day was beautiful and our group was fun. Ryan was our tour guide and he was very informative, entertaining, and personable with all of us! He was also kind enough to get a few pictures of us while out on the water!!! We bought phone bags so we could take pictures out on the water and not worry about dropping our phones. They have cute colors at the shop for around $13! We also got a restaurant recommendation, "Off the Hook" and it was a great suggestion, Thank you! Thank you again for a fun experience. I would definitely recommend others to try!See more..

Ryan was wonderful! My husband and I took a lesson from him yesterday and after calling him, he offered to pick us up from our location and drive us to the surf school a few miles down the road, located at the Shores Resort. This was extremely convenient as we did not have a rental car. After we practiced standing up on land, he took us to the waves and wouldn't stop working with us until we were standing up and riding the waves in! He was a pleasure to work with and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to surf in Daytona Beach.See more..

We spent the day at the waterpark and it was worth the price. The lines to the ride are no more than 5 minutes. The pools and kids area were not swamped. They only allow a certain amount of people in there which is lovely so it doesnt get over crowded. The servers are all friendly and kind. Towels are provided and water.See more..

So much fun! My daughter is in her third year of surf camp and does multiple weeks each summer. The instructors are great and make sure all of the kids are having fun, no matter what! I’ve seen major improvement in my daughter’s ability to surf as well as her confidence and knowledge in the ocean (tides, rip currents, winds etc.). Keep up the awesome job!See more..

Met Tony (owner) at the shop which is conveniently located off Tamiami Trail. We carpooled to the paddle board launch location. We were first timers and Tony patiently gave us some instructions and we were on our way in a matter of minutes. The area that we learned paddle boarding was safe, shallow and easy to navigate. Had a lot of fun paddle boarding for our first time and it will definitely not be our last with Above Board. The staff was friendly and informative and we felt completely safe the entire time. This board shop was the best I’ve foot into. The owner was a pro surfer. He has an incredible supply of boards for sale, rashguards, board shorts, and rental boards. The rental boards are well kept and the workers are helpful and kind. Definitely recommend this place above others. You can rent a board for 24 hours at a great price too.See more..

This is not a sport to learn without instruction. I highly recommend Shaun at Cloud Nine to get you kite boarding. I knew nothing, only that I wanted to do this for a really long time. He started from ground zero with me. He is patient and a great teacher. He will help you and get you up and going quickly in the right direction.
