You can do it with help and it so worth it!
This is not a sport to learn without instruction. I highly recommend Shaun at Cloud Nine to get you kite boarding. I knew nothing, only that I wanted to do this for a really long time. He started from ground zero with me. He is patient and a great teacher. He will help you and get you up and going quickly in the right direction. I thank him for helping me check off my bucket list and getting me into a sport I wanted to do for so long!

Excellent, highly professional, helpful and fun kiteboarding instructors
Shaun and Debbie are highly accomplished kite-boarding pros, but they are also wonderfully down-to-earth with beginners and intermediates. As natives of mid-coast Atlantic Florida, they have a wealth of knowledge regarding the best spots and conditions to get newbies up and riding quickly. Safety is a primary topic that comes up frequently, but they remain low-key and good natured about the whole process. Another good thing is their flexibility on lesson arrangements. They offer a variety of lessons--solo, group, down-winder, ride-along. My son took two lessons with them in the shallows and was up and riding on his first lesson. They took me on a down-winder in 6-foot seas later in the week. As an intermediate kiter, I was a bit overwhelmed at first, but Shaun circled by me several times in the span of a couple hours, which was very reassuring. It was the highlight of my week. Overall, I can't say enough good things about Cloud Nine Kiteboarding. I give them my highest recommendation.

Kite Boarding
My first lesson with Kite boarding was so much fun. My instructor Shawn was very knowledgeable and very patient. I'm looking forward to doing my next lesson with him.
