Great Experience
Our 8 year old grandson had his first surf lesson and loved it! Thank you Hector. We did the public surf lesson and even though he was the youngest he was up and surfing in no time. We had a great experience. Highly recommend.

Teenage Girls Learning to Surf
I bought surf lessons for my two teenage daughters who were somewhat self-conscious to learn a new sport. Avery was their instructor and she did an amazing job with them. They were completely comfortable with her and she taught them so much in 90 minutes! They were catching waves and surfing by the end - with big smiles on their faces. I highly recommend Avery at Jax Surf and Paddle!

A Must-Do at the Beach
An absolutely perfect experience. My husband and I paddle boarded among dolphins in clear water with an instructor who has that rare combination of expertise and tranquility. Jerian masterfully taught us how to get through the waves, modeling calm—knowing when to intervene with tips and when to let us experiment. The 9:00 lesson was so accessible. Parked a block away from the ocean in front of Jax Surf and Paddle, met Jerian (who arrived right on time, 15 minutes before the lesson, having already checked the surf report), and were paddling in the water shortly thereafter. We will be back with our daughters next time, hopeful that Jerian will be our instructor.
