A beautiful historical site and still an active faith community. We did not have time for the tour but the gentleman working in the gift shop provided interesting background information. Worth a walkthrough for anyone because of the history. Many no matter your faith traditions will also find it spiritually moving.See more..

4.5Memorial Presbyterian Church(824 reviews) - Stunning! But couldn’t view the inside Temporarily closed - Closed until further notice Churches & Cathedrals
The present sanctuary was given by Henry Morrison Flagler and dedicated in 1890 as a memorial to his daughter Jenny Louise Benedict who died from complications from childbirth. Mr. Flagler, his first wife, Mary, daughter Jenny Louise and granddaughter, Marjorie, are entombed in the Flagler family mausoleum at Memorial. For almost 200 years, Memorial Presbyterian Church has not only remained a major figure in the St. Augustine skyline but also a major contributor to the community surrounding it. We are an active congregation with a full range of worship, music, education, mission, fellowship, and pastoral ministries. Memorial Presbyterian Church members are vitally involved in the life and work of the community and the church reaches into the community and, in concert with others, into the world with the good news of God’s love in Jesus Christ. The Sanctuary is open for self guided tours Tues - Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until 3:45 p.m. unless we have a wedding or memorial service.See more..

Stopped in the Church for a beautiful Palm Sunday mass. I stopped in the Saturday Vigil. I am so happy I did. The interior of the church is magnificent and the acoustics is outstanding. The church is surrounded with beautiful stain glass windows and a terrific alter. It was a nice experience to have visiting Tampa. I also enjoyed reading about its history. The Spanish explorers of the 1500s brought Catholicism to the area. In 1859, a little frame church was erected on the site of the present Sacred Heart Church. It was blessed on Trinity Sunday and named St. Louis Parish. The first Catholic parish in the Tampa area. The parish and the Tampa area grew, thanks to Henry Plants railroad, which caused a need for a bigger church. Ground was broken for the new church on February 16, 1898. The new structure was dedicated on January 15, 1905, and its name and that of the parish became Sacred Heart.See more..

5.0Church of the Little Flower(92 reviews) - Cute Church in terrific setting Saturday: 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM Churches & Cathedrals
The Little flower Church stands opposite the main entrance and facade of the iconic Biltmore hotel in Coral Gables. The scenery you see attracts you to walk to it and visit. It's set at the end of a terrific garden lined with two rows of palm trees - great photo op. The Church itself is pretty small, yet very beuatiful with a Spanish style facade, reminding me on San Antonio missions. The interior is also nice with several small side stained glass windows.See more..

4.5Our Lady of Guadalupe(64 reviews) - Mass and Adoration Spent < 1 hour Churches & Cathedrals
I visited this church while looking for daily Mass nearby my hotel during a short visit to Miami. I was impressed of the active community and very full noon masses. The Adoration Chappel has a very large custody, and it was also full of people. It is nice to see so much devotion. Today I happen to walk by the Stations of the Cross and was surprisingly impressed of all the advocations of our Lady, including the one from my hometown, Guatemala. I will definitely come back!See more..

I have been attending First United for nearly ten years now. This is a very welcoming church which is easily accessible for visitors to the area on Beachside. There are three weekly services that all have the same weekly message. (1) Informal midweek service on Thursday night at 6:30. (2) 9:00 AM service on Sunday with contemporary worship. (3) 11:00 AM service on Sunday with traditional worship (i.e., choir and organ). The messages are very good and applicable to everyday life. The people are friendly. 4.5St. Edward Roman Catholic Church(10 reviews) - A fine example of Spanish Renaissance church Spent 1-2 hours Religious Sites • Churches & Cathedrals
Located on one of the main thoroughfares on Palm Beach, this splendid Spanish Renaissance church serves as one of the major Catholic parish churches. The church was completed in 1926, and a residence was added to it in 1942. In 1958 a parish center was added, and recently the church underwent extensive repair and refurbishing. In excellent condition today, the interior decor is tasteful, elegant=, full of natural light. The main altar is dedicated to the Sacred Heart, while side altars are dedicated to St. Anthony and St. Theresa. An impressive mural stands on top of the altar, representing the 12 apostles. Beautiful stained glass windows recount the life of Virgin Mary. The Kennedy family, including President Kennedy would worship at this church when visiting or staying in Palm Beach.See more..

He guided us all around the site and into the Tabernacle and explained all that we saw. My wife and I learned a lot more than from Sunday school. Then we were invited next door to witness the largest Bible collection In The World. This is a tour for young and old alike. Admission is on a donation basis and we left what we were lead to.See more..

5.0Holly Hill Church of Christ(2 reviews) - A good climb at Christ Hill, Vung Tau Spent 1-2 hours Churches & Cathedrals
We arrived at Vung Tau on 25 December, 2016 and visited Christ Hill the next morning. It took about 20 mins by our tour coach from the hotel to Christ Hill. A magnifient place and we had a good hike up 1000 steps. There are stops plateforms on the way for resting and catching panaromic views of the sea as we hiked up. WC facility at half way up and at the top. It took 811 steps to reach the statue of Christ and another 189 steps within the statue to reach the top of the statue (shoulder with a small space to take picture of the panaromic views of the city). The statue is 32m high with 18.5m arm apan. With respect, the guard does not no short pants above knees. No bags are allowed to be carried along in the climb of the statue (for security reasons perhaps). A good visit for photographic lovers. Be prepared for fitness testing of your heart and leg (knee) strength. For us, it was a place well worth our time there.See more..
