Sunday afternoon musical oases at St. Paul's in Delray Beach

If you're sick of Doo Wop concerts and want to hear some good performances of Bach and the classics, I recommend St. Paul's 3:00 pm Sunday afternoon concerts $20 per ticket. There's usually an orientation talk by the Music Director at 2:30 pm. Its an urbane prelude to a downtown Delray seafood dinner on Atlantic ave.

    Come worship!
The priests and communicants seen eager to welcome guests and newcomers. Everyone we have met has been pleasant and open, the sermon's have been topical and beautifully preached. Sense of humor comes through and the message is sent! It is worth visiting.

    Local church review
It cracks me up to be reviewing a church. But here goes: I am not a member of St Paul's nor do I intend to join. But even nonmembers are treated especially well here. I've been to the church several times over the years for funerals, weddings and Christmas services because it's so beautiful. St. Paul's has the kindest, warmest staff I have ever seen. At a recent funeral for a member of my favorite charity we spilled out into the public area after the funeral. Someone at St. Paul's opened another private room and invited us in to sit while we enjoyed a cold drink and a small buffet. Some of our group are quite elderly so the rest of us were delighted to see them treated so well. I have a warm spot in my heart for St. Paul's.
