    Craft Food Tours image
The highlight of my girls trip to Fort Lauderdale was this food tour! Instructions to the meeting place were clear, the tour started on time and our tour guide was outstanding. Our tour guide, Howie, was extremely personable and eager to make sure each participant enjoyed his/her experience. He was very knowledgeable about Fort Lauderdale information and had confirmed that all of his facts were verified. We visited five different restaurants beginning with a breakfast of Belgian waffles and tahini granola and continued to a Mexican restaurant, Argentinian restaurant, American restaurant where we had chicken sliders and fries and concluded with a dessert of donuts. Generous pours of alcoholic choices were offered at three of the locations. Howie also took several group photos and sent to the group afterward. Highly recommended! See more..

    St. Paul's Episcopal Church image
If you're sick of Doo Wop concerts and want to hear some good performances of Bach and the classics, I recommend St. Paul's 3:00 pm Sunday afternoon concerts $20 per ticket. There's usually an orientation talk by the Music Director at 2:30 pm. Its an urbane prelude to a downtown Delray seafood dinner on Atlantic ave. See more..
  4. 5.0 The Heart of Delray Gallery (10 reviews)
    - Great Surprise
    Art Galleries
The Heart of Delray Gallery image
A friend brought us here when we were nearby and we were pleasantly and unexpectedly surprised and thrilled. We had no idea this gallery existed, let alone know of its contents. Room after room, studio after studio, the clean, neat, renovated building offers mixed media, sculptures, paintings, mobiles, photos, and so forth. There is artwork to be seen inside and out, floor to ceiling. This venue is wonderful not only to view the artwork, but to also be able to speak to the artists working in their studio gives one such better insight to their work, life, and the venue. This was a great surprise and we highly recommend it. We hope to return when we have more time. See more..

Sunday: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM Sports Complexes
Delray Beach Stadium & Tennis Center image
I enjoyed very much the game as it is not a very big stadium and we are very close to the players. The game was also close and my player Raonic lost against Opelka who played a good game and won in three sets. It is well organized and there is food and other stands for in between matches. Parking is also close and easy near the stadium. Will go back next year as it is an opportunity to see some of the best players in the world who some day will probably be in the top ten ranking in the world. See more..
  21. 4.5 Delray Beach (51 reviews)
    - Best beach between Hobe Sound and Boca Raton! Parking available beside the Sandoway Discovery Museum
    Beaches
    Delray Beach image
Sandoway Parking lot - reasonable at $1.50/hour, equipped with bathrooms, but it does fill up until mid afternoon - if you go around 3:00, in season, or on a weekend, you should have a good chance of finding parking; otherwise, get there by mid-morning. Easy walk across the street to the beach. The beach is great for swimming, sunbathing, and, if you are into beachcombing, as you walk along the beach to the south, you will find many shells, including small bleached coral branches. Forget about Palm Beach as a beach – not only are the parking fees exorbitant, the areas that used to be reachable by walking south along the beach have been dramatically reduced, maybe by the weather. 22. 4.5 Delray Beach Playhouse (13 reviews)
    - A little off the beaten path, but well worth the trip
    Spent 2-3 hours Theaters
This is a gem of a performing arts center. Located on a beautiful spot on little known Lake Ida,it offers ample free parking and sitting and walking areas too. The production schedule is packed with entertainment for everyone. Pricing is very fair for the quality of the shows. They have two venues- a cabaret setting and a main auditorium. The Cabaret is more intimate and there is no bad table. They introduced a lunchtime series this year, and it was very popular. They had excellent performers, including some from the NY cabaret scene, and as a bonus there was lunch catered by TooJays The main stage also doesn't have a bad seat in the house, and does larger productions. Many people seem to be regulars The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. See more..
