Didn't get enough time here, but isn't that the usual story? Found it on a whim and pulled in until the sun went down. Easy beach access and the water and waves were nice. Super relaxing and sparsely attended the evening of my visit. See more..

Perfect little hidden gem❣️ I was so glad to find this little BEACH. We watched several pelicans diving and eating their catch for hours. What fun Parking is limited, but FREE There wasn’t any walking trails in that location, but a pleasant little walk to get to the beach. Restrooms and a soda machine were just what I needed for this unexpected stop. Luckily had the chairs & umbrella in the car. See more..

They pioneered fish edible six pack rings. They have a new line, long sleeve T-shirts made from recycled plastic bottles. The T's come with UPF 50 plus protection, they have maybe 20 designs, some are about beer. I can see my daughter buying my granddaughters: Sea Cow Milk Stout Shirts. Maybe @ $42.95 not so many. It's great keeping the bottles out of the water. They have food trucks and very good beer. See more..

The Cornell Art Museum, located on the Old School Square campus in downtown Delray Beach, strives to show contemporary artists who create innovative and provocative works of art. Inquisitive visitors enjoy intriguing pieces of artwork while discovering new artists and styles. The Museum exposes the Delray Beach community to artwork that is culturally relevant and exciting, hoping to foster creativity and inspire imagination. Museum shows typically begin with a theme and blossom into dynamic group exhibitions that excite visitors from all backgrounds. Old School Square is the center of arts & entertainment in downtown Delray Beach. Serving for over 25 years as the community’s gathering place, the historic campus includes the intimate Crest Theatre (in the restored 1925 Delray High School building) the Cornell Art Museum (in the 1913 Delray Elementary building), and the Fieldhouse (c. 1925). The Pavilion, which opened in 2002, hosts outdoor concerts and festivals. The Creative Arts School (located on the second floor of the Crest Theatre) offers art, photography and writing classes. I enjoyed very much the game as it is not a very big stadium and we are very close to the players. The game was also close and my player Raonic lost against Opelka who played a good game and won in three sets. It is well organized and there is food and other stands for in between matches. Parking is also close and easy near the stadium. Will go back next year as it is an opportunity to see some of the best players in the world who some day will probably be in the top ten ranking in the world. See more..
  7. 4.5 Delray Beach (51 reviews)
    - Best beach between Hobe Sound and Boca Raton! Parking available beside the Sandoway Discovery Museum
    Beaches
    Delray Beach image
Sandoway Parking lot - reasonable at $1.50/hour, equipped with bathrooms, but it does fill up until mid afternoon - if you go around 3:00, in season, or on a weekend, you should have a good chance of finding parking; otherwise, get there by mid-morning. Easy walk across the street to the beach. The beach is great for swimming, sunbathing, and, if you are into beachcombing, as you walk along the beach to the south, you will find many shells, including small bleached coral branches. Forget about Palm Beach as a beach – not only are the parking fees exorbitant, the areas that used to be reachable by walking south along the beach have been dramatically reduced, maybe by the weather.
