4.5Delray Beach Playhouse(13 reviews) - A little off the beaten path, but well worth the trip Spent 2-3 hours Theaters This is a gem of a performing arts center. Located on a beautiful spot on little known Lake Ida,it offers ample free parking and sitting and walking areas too. The production schedule is packed with entertainment for everyone. Pricing is very fair for the quality of the shows. They have two venues- a cabaret setting and a main auditorium. The Cabaret is more intimate and there is no bad table. They introduced a lunchtime series this year, and it was very popular. They had excellent performers, including some from the NY cabaret scene, and as a bonus there was lunch catered by TooJays The main stage also doesn't have a bad seat in the house,and does larger productions. Many people seem to be regulars The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful.See more..
