The Spady Cultural Heritage Museum, a non-profit organization located in Delray Beach, Florida, is dedicated to discovering, collecting and sharing the African-American history and heritage of Florida. The Spady plays host to rotating exhibits featuring contributions of the African-, Haitian- and Caribbean-American cultures to the artistic landscape of Florida and the U.S., as well as a full schedule of community events, the Ride & Remember Trolley Tour, annual festivals, public education programs and children’s activities. It is the ONLY museum of its kind in Palm Beach County. Hours: 11 a.m. - 4 p.m., Tuesday-Saturday. Closed Sundays,Mondays & Holidays. Admission: $10; Members are free.

Small but excellent museum: go see it
We found this small museum just a short distance from the main activities in Delray. It was worth it. It's one floor, 3 rooms, but the current exhibit of history of comic books that featured people of color was unique and outstanding. Plus the staff was welcoming and informative. No charge, but we were happy to make a donation. This place represents living history. Go see it!

Great historical info on old Delray life
Very interesting collection of photos and stories of the founding fathers of Delray Beach. Great staff, who are very knowledgeable and helpful. Everyone should check out this wonderful place.
