A good climb at Christ Hill, Vung Tau

We arrived at Vung Tau on 25 December, 2016 and visited Christ Hill the next morning. It took about 20 mins by our tour coach from the hotel to Christ Hill. A magnifient place and we had a good hike up 1000 steps. There are stops plateforms on the way for resting and catching panaromic views of the sea as we hiked up. WC facility at half way up and at the top. It took 811 steps to reach the statue of Christ and another 189 steps within the statue to reach the top of the statue (shoulder with a small space to take picture of the panaromic views of the city). The statue is 32m high with 18.5m arm apan. With respect, the guard does not no short pants above knees. No bags are allowed to be carried along in the climb of the statue (for security reasons perhaps). A good visit for photographic lovers. Be prepared for fitness testing of your heart and leg (knee) strength. For us, it was a place well worth our time there.

    Wonderful Place to Worship
My family and I visit Holly Hill Church of Christ every time we visit Daytona Beach. May I just say this is the friendliest church ever. The song leader, Mr. Parrott, did an excellent job leading the singing. I love how the words are posted on several screens for everyone to see. The communion devotion was very good to help prepare your mind for communion. The door greeters were kind and assisted in finding a seat. Finally, the preacher did an amazing job! His sermon was titled, Bring Jesus to Work? from Romans and Colossians. Wow, what a current topic and his message truly inspired and encouraged me. Thank you, Mr. Pruett. I would encourage any visitors or community members to visit and see what a blessing you'll receive.
