The work that goes into the design the 35’ high tree out of sand and the various sand sculpture around the area is worth take the time to see. We also liked the various photo opt cut outs. I love Historic Cocoa because it is partially a glimpse of an old Florida town, partially because of the eclectic mix of bars and restaurants located in a compact area and also because it offers a vastly different experience than beachside but it is super easy and cheap to get to. If you are in town for a couple days, a lunch or dinner in Cocoa Village will be worth it. I know this sounds like. Chamber of Commerce ad, it’s not. I love this area, am a TA fanatic, and want people to experience great places and if possible, like a local.See more..

4.0Downtown Lake Worth(374 reviews) - Lovely, Lovely Lake Worth Neighborhoods
I came to Lake Worth from New England regularly as a child. In those days downtown Lake Worth was a colorless, bland small town with a handful of banyan trees. -Not anymore! The banyan trees are still there, but downtown Lake Worth pops with vibrancy and color. There are wall murals throughout the downtown area, small boutiques, cozy bars and quirky restaurants. People working in these establishments are warm and friendly. We were lucky enough to attend the annual Lake Worth Street Painting Festival this year. It was a mellow 2 day street party with astonishing artists and attending visitors, beautifully organized and well attended. Kudos to Lake Worth for valuing the arts. Please continue on this wisely chosen path! Besides the charming downtown area Lake Worth offer a great beach and pier for water activities.See more..

There are so many good restaurants down town, and fun things to do. Just enjoy the walk along the water, or throw axes, have dinner, or people watch. Just be aware if you park in the public parking near the RR tracks and the train comes through about 8 PM and stops on the tracks, you will not be able to get back to your car for an hour or so. 4.5Main Street(2 reviews) - Pretty and worth a short visit; especially for the barbecue! Neighborhoods My family used to live in Newberry, and now that I myself live in Archer, I venture through Newberry's Main Street on occasion. It's definitely the highlight of the small town; old buildings line a few blocks that have stood since the town's creation, city hall is pretty, and the little stores and thrift shops are pretty welcoming. If you're visiting Gainesville, it's definitely worth a trip to get that small, southern-town vibe. It's pretty, and you can really see everything in less than an hour. Unless... Unless, well, you go to Newberry for why I go to Newberry. When I'm feeling down or just really really hungry, there's only one thing that can cure my hunger blues. A beacon of glory and hope in the town of Newberry called Newberry's Backyard B.B.Q. It's on the north side of Main Street, and has a nice big sign hanging, so you can't miss it. It's real country cooking, and it's real real good. Definitely worth a taste!See more..
